Abstract: An apparatus and method for spacing a door from an associated doorjamb are disclosed. The apparatus includes a spacer for limiting closing of the door such that an outer edge of the door is spaced apart from an associated doorjamb. The apparatus also includes a device cooperating with an opening in the doorjamb for securing the spacer to the doorjamb. The device may include a pair of opposing engagement members and a moveable expander for moving the engagement members into contact with an inner surface of the opening of the doorjamb. The expander may include camming surfaces which bear upon the engagement members to expand the engagement members. The method involves actuating an actuator to move the engagement members into contact with an inner surface of the opening of the doorjamb to secure the spacer to the doorjamb to limit closing of the door such that an outer edge of the door is spaced apart from the doorjamb.

Abstract: A device is structured to be integrated with a major components such as a movable unit and a stator contained in a rail member for easy removal from downward of the lintel, thus eliminating adjustment work on site. Since the door may be simply installed on the hanger, it can be easily installed and removed. Also, the stator and the hanger with rollers may be connected by clamping a projection strip formed on a bottom face of the stator from left and right sides thereof with the hanger with rollers installed on the door, or instead by engaging the hanger with rollers with an engagement portion provided on the stator from both side thereof. Consequently, connecting and releasing of the stator and the hanger is simplified and the ease of maintenance is improved.

Abstract: An automatic gate arrangement has a hollow and tubular lower post part defining an upright post axis and fixed to one side of the path, an upper end wall transverse to the post axis, and lower fasteners releasably securing the upper end wall to the lower post part. A support fixed to the upper end wall extends upward along the post axis therefrom and pivotally supports a gate shaft at the post axis. A hollow and tubular upper post part above the middle post part is centered on the post axis in axial alignment with the lower and middle parts. A rigid strut is fixed to the lower post part and support and lower fasteners secure the upper post part to the strut for relatively fixing the upper and lower post parts together.
