    摘要: A door stop includes a body having a longitudinal axis and having angled sides defining an apex. A rotating toggle having angled sides defining an apex and a longitudinal axis is operably connected at its apex to the body at about the apex of the body. The toggle is rotatable such that the longitudinal axis of the toggle aligns with the longitudinal axis of the body in an insertion position and the longitudinal axis of the toggle is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the body in a locked position. A lock assembly is operably mounted to the body to lock the toggle in the locked position.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a door hinge that allows a door to stay closed without the use of additional hardware. Conventional hinges merely support the door they are mounted on. The unique features of the hinge of the present invention allow a door to remain closed due to the integral strike and catch components of the hinge itself. This eliminates the time and expense for installation of traditional mechanical or magnetic closure systems on the non-hinge end of the door and frame.

    摘要: An adjustable door stop system and method for a hinge mounted door having at least one hinge leaf connected to the door and at least one hinge leaf connected to the doorway. The door stop system includes a hinge pin having an axis about which the hinge leaves rotate. A first disk extends radially from one end of the hinge pin. A second disk has an opening to receive the hinge pin therethrough. A finger extends from the first disk substantially parallel to the axis of the hinge pin. A finger also extends from the second disk substantially parallel to the axis of the hinge pin. The first disk finger engages the hinge leaf connected to the doorway and the second disk finger engages the hinge leaf connected to the door to thereby stop movement of the door without contacting either the door or the doorway.

    摘要: A hinge for pivotably mounting a panel to a vehicle body includes a panel attachment plate securable to the panel, a body attachment plate securable to the vehicle body, and an intermediate member pivotably attached between the body and panel attachment plates. The intermediate member has opposite sidewalls and a center flange extending between the sidewalls. The sidewalls engage the body attachment plate with the center flange spaced from the body attachment plate when the intermediate member is pivoted such that the sidewalls are positioned generally along the body attachment plate. The intermediate member may include a stop member for limiting pivotal movement of the panel attachment plate. The stop member may limit such pivotal movement at different positions by being cut to different sizes during manufacture of the hinge. The body attachment plate may provide a hinge portion that provides enhanced structural rigidity to the hinge.

    摘要: A pivot bearing mechanism includes a main body and a pivot shaft. The main body is fixedly mounted on a first member, and is provided on a top thereof with an axially extended slit and near the top with an internally threaded hole transversely extended through the slit, such that a screwing element can be tightened into the threaded hole to narrow the slit. The pivot shaft has a first end rotatably supported on the main body and a second end fixedly connected to a second member. By tightening the screwing element into the threaded hole by different degrees, the slit is forced to narrow or widen to allow adjustment of a tightness of contact between the main body and the pivot shaft, allowing the pivot shaft to bring the second member to rotate and locate at a desired position, relative to the first member.
