    Abstract: Methods and systems for a centralized notification service are described herein. The centralized notification service may store notification data received from a plurality of devices and workspaces in a notification database. The notification database may store user account information, associated device and workspace information, associated application information, and notifications received or retrieved from each device and application associated with a user account. The notification service may receive notification data from a plurality of applications based on hooks injected into applications or into a notification manager service.

    Abstract: A computer system includes a client device to remotely access a virtual desktop, and is configured to perform a drag and drop operation. The drag and drop operation is based on launching a plurality of windows on at least one display, and detecting dragging of an object selected by an input device within one of the windows. At least one thumbnail is overlaid on the window with the dragged object, with the at least one thumbnail representing at least one of the other windows that could receive the dragged object. Dropping of the dragged object by the input device onto one of the thumbnails is detected. The dropped object is then moved or copied to the window represented by the thumbnail receiving the dropped object.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for image acquisition device virtualization are described herein. A user of a client computing device may access a remote operating system running on a host computing device via a client application running on a local operating system of the client computing device. An image acquisition device such as a scanner may be connected to the client computing device and the user may wish to use the image acquisition device to acquire image data (e.g., scan a photograph). In order for an image application (e.g., a photo editor) running on the remote operating system to read in the image data from the image acquisition devices, the remote operating system of the host computing device may intercept a service call from the image application at a service layer and redirect the service call, via a virtual channel, to the local operating system of the client computing device.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is related to systems and methods of monitoring data of a network application. An embedded browser of a client application on a client device may initiate a request to access a network application hosted on a server. The client application may, responsive to the request, establish a secure session to communicate data of the network application to the client application for rendering in a display region of the embedded browser. The client application may decrypt the data communicated via the established secure session to monitor the network application.

    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for rendering a watermark on content in a manner as to not obfuscate or otherwise cause visual defects to data elements in the content. An example methodology implementing the techniques includes segmenting a watermark to be rendered on the content into multiple watermark pieces. Then, prior to rendering a particular watermark piece, a check is made to determine whether there is a data element at the location in the content at which the particular watermark piece is to be rendered. If a data element is detected at that location, the particular watermark piece is rendered such that the data element overlays the particular watermark piece to render the watermark as a masked watermark. Otherwise, if no data element is detected at that location, the watermark piece is rendered on the content to be visible. The process is repeated to render the remaining watermark pieces.

    Abstract: A technique utilizes a security heat map associated with a geographic region. The technique involves receiving, by a server, current heat scores for one or more endpoint devices located within the geographic region. The technique further involves providing, by the server, for areas within the geographic region, respective aggregate heat scores based on the current heat scores for the one or more endpoint devices. The technique further involves, based on the respective aggregate heat scores for the areas within the geographic region, generating, by the server, a security heat map defining one or more security zones within the geographic region. The technique further involves imposing, by the server, security policies on the one or more endpoint devices based on the security heat map.
