Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a network entity or a user equipment (UE), or both, to utilize a set of tones configured for tone reservation (TR) with full-duplex communications. The set of tones may be included in some boundary between, or that overlaps with, uplink and/or downlink resources configured for full-duplex communications. For example, a transmitting device (e.g., the network entity, the UE, or both) may use a boundary that overlaps with an uplink subband and/or a downlink subband for TR signaling. A transmitting device (e.g., the UE and/or network entity) may transmit one or more TR signals via resources associated with the boundary configured for TR, whereas data signals may be transmitted using resources configured for full-duplex communications that are different from the resources associated with the region configured for TR.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration identifying a first set of frequency resources for transmitting a sounding reference signal, where the sounding reference signal may be used at least for downlink channel state information acquisition. The UE may receive an indication of an association between the configuration for the sounding reference signal and a second set of frequency resources and determine, based on the association, values for one or more sounding reference signal transmission parameters for the first set of frequency resources. The UE may transmit the sounding reference signal on the first set of frequency resources based on the determined one or more values.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for repetition cancellation in full duplex communications. A method of wireless communication includes receiving scheduling information from a base station, wherein: the scheduling information schedules transmission of a plurality of uplink channel repetitions in a plurality of slots, the plurality of uplink channel repetitions is associated with a first sequence of redundancy versions (RVs), each repetition in the plurality of uplink channel repetitions assigned a different RV in the first sequence of RVs, and the plurality of slots include at least one full duplex slot comprising an uplink subband for uplink transmissions and a downlink subband for downlink transmissions; receiving an indication to cancel one or more repetitions of the plurality of uplink channel repetitions scheduled by the scheduling information; and taking one or more actions related to transmitting one or more remaining non-canceled repetitions of the plurality of UL channel repetitions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, control signaling identifying a configuration of a set of time intervals for communication with the base station, the set of time intervals including a subset of the time intervals for which the UE is to perform a physical layer security procedure. In some cases, the UE may activate a timer associated with performing the physical layer security procedure in response to a trigger. The UE and the base station may communicate one or more messages using the physical layer security procedure, for example, in the subset of the time intervals identified by the control signaling, while the timer is active, or both. The physical layer security procedure may involve the UE performing physical layer security encoding, signal jamming, or both.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a first message indicating that a configuration for a time restriction is disabled for the UE, such that the UE may measure one or more resources transmitted from a network entity with respect to a reference resource. The UE may receive a second message indicating that the UE is to measure one or more resources transmitted by a network entity at a first of multiple transmit power levels, the one or more resources transmitted before the reference resource, and the reference resource associated with one of the multiple transmit power levels. The UE may perform a first average measurement of the one or more resources and transmit a first report indicating the first average measurement, where the UE performs the average measurement of the one or more resources based on the second message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network node may transmit a message to a user equipment (UE) indicating at least a first frequency range for uplink data and a second frequency range for the uplink data. The UE may apply a frequency offset for at least one of the first frequency range or the second frequency range based at least in part on the first frequency range, the second frequency range, or both, overlapping with a downlink portion of a sub band full duplex duration. The UE may transmit, during a first portion of the sub band full duplex duration, the uplink data in the first frequency range, the second frequency range, or a third frequency range based at least in part on applying the frequency offset for at least one of the first frequency range or the second frequency range.

Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for duplex mode configuration for control information (e.g., duplex mode configuration for communication of downlink control information). For example, duplex modes may be defined (e.g., as full duplex (FD) capable, FD only, half duplex (HD) only, etc.), and such duplex modes may be configured for control resource sets (CORESETs), search space (SS) sets, or both. In some examples, duplex modes configured for a CORESET/SS set may depend on the priority of information conveyed via the CORESET/SS set. For example, a CORESET/SS set for high priority or critical control information may be configured with a HD mode to avoid FD self-interference, while CORESET/SS set for other control information may be configured with a FD mode to improve spectrum efficiency. Techniques for resolving conflicting duplex mode configurations (e.g., when a HD mode is configured for a SS set within a CORESET configured with FD) are also described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first transmit-receive point (TRP) and a second TRP, downlink control information (DCI) with a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) that schedules downlink common signaling. The UE may receive, from one or more of the first TRP or the second TRP based at least in part on the DCI, the downlink common signaling in a common search space (CSS) associated with a single frequency network (SFN) control resource set (CORESET) that is activated with two transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states, wherein the downlink common signaling is received from one or more of the first TRP or the second TRP based at least in part on a UE capability of an SFN transmission scheme for reception of the downlink common signaling. Abstract: Aspects relate to sounding reference signal (SRS) time-domain bundling. Phase continuity may be maintained across SRS transmissions over multiple SRS occasions to enable a receiver to jointly process these SRS transmissions. In some examples, a user equipment may expect to be configured with SRS transmissions over multiple SRS occasions where SRS configurations for different SRS transmissions over different SRS occasions specify the same parameters. For example, a first SRS configuration for a first SRS transmission over a first SRS occasion may specify a first set of spatial relation information. In addition, a second SRS configuration for a second SRS transmission over a second SRS occasion may specify that same first set of spatial relation information. In this way, phase continuity may be maintained between the first SRS transmission over the first SRS occasion and the second SRS transmission over the second SRS occasion.

Abstract: Aspects relate to reporting channel state information. A base station may configure a user equipment to measure channel state information reference signals associated with full-duplex communication and channel state information reference signals associated with half-duplex communication. In response, the user equipment may report first channel state information associated with the full-duplex communication and second channel state information associated with the half-duplex communication. In some examples, the user equipment reports the second channel state information as a differential relative to the first channel state information. In some examples, the user equipment reports the first channel state information as a differential relative to the second channel state information.
