Abstract: A beverage system is provided. An adaptor assembly can be used with the beverage system and include a brew basket defining a cavity therein and having a fluid outlet. The assembly also includes a pod adapter and a filter adaptor receivable within the cavity in the brew basket. The pod adapter has at least one engagement feature arranged to be received within at least one corresponding slot in the brew basket. The filter adaptor includes a showerhead coupled to the filter body, the showerhead being arranged to receive fluid through an opening therein and to distribute fluid into the filter body. An internal storage cavity can be arranged within the housing of the beverage system for storing the adaptors. Additionally, a flow path cover can be positioned on the beverage system and configured to prevent unintentional water discharge from a brew chamber.

Abstract: A nozzle having castellations provides high suction pressure while also allowing for large pieces of debris to pass through inlet openings. In more detail, a nozzle for a surface treatment/cleaning apparatus is disclosed herein. The nozzle provides a suction channel through which debris passes into a main body of the surface treatment apparatus. Castellations are provided along a leading edge of the nozzle to allow debris to pass through the leading edge to the suction channel, and into the main body during, for instance, forward and reverse strokes of the surface treatment apparatus. In an embodiment, the castellations further include receptacles/cavities to receive and securely hold wheels therein. The wheels may extend from the nozzle at a predefined angle, also referred to herein as a camber angle, to improve vacuum handling and reduce noise during operation.

Abstract: A bowl assembly for a micro-puree machine includes a processing bowl that is open on both ends. One end of the bowl is capped with a processing lid and the other end of the bowl is capped with an extrusion lid. The processing lid includes a blade that is engageable with to a driven shaft of the machine for processing the ingredients. The processing lid is also couplable to a nozzle for dispensing the finished product during the extrusion process.
