Abstract:
Force K processing is presented to replace gray color values of input data with only levels of black ink/toner when color management is not specified in the print job. A system converts input data of a print job to a CMYK color space of a printer by processing a lookup table of color values for the color space of the input data based on a detected color space of the input data to identify gray color values of the lookup table. The system also determines that these gray color values produce an output in the CMYK color space of the printer that includes one or more of cyan, magenta, and yellow color components. The system replaces the gray color values with black color values and corresponds the black color values of the lookup table with gray color values of the input data for conversion of the input data.

Abstract:
In accordance with some embodiments of the present invention, information about a user's activities and habits may be collected on an ongoing basis with the user's permission. This information about previous history can then tied to inferences that enable predictions about the user's preferences. As a result, when it comes time for the user to make a decision or a selection, information about past history and permissible inferences can be used to automatically provide suggestions for implementing future activities. In addition, in some cases this previous history information can be used to optimize future selections.
Abstract:
Systems and methods may provide for receiving web content and detecting an access control attribute associated with the web content. Additionally, the access control attribute may be monitored for a disablement condition. In one example, the disablement condition may be detected, an access policy may be determined in response to the disablement condition, and the access policy may be implemented. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
Recognition-base security including use of an image capture device to capture images of a visiting individual. An image analysis agent coupled with the image capture device to receive a captured image, to compare characteristics of the captured image to stored characteristics of visitor profiles, to transmit an indication of a match between the captured image and one of the visitor profiles to a user associated with a building visited by the visiting individual. A security response agent coupled with the image analysis agent and the electronic system to generate a policy-determined response to the visiting individual based on the identity. The policy-determined response comprises providing a signaling response to the user and/or the visiting individual.
Abstract:
A high-speed fully differential clock duty cycle calibration circuit applied to calibrating the clock duty cycle in a high-speed system. The circuit detects the duty cycle with a continuous time integrator, and directly adjusts the duty cycle on a clock transmission link so as to increase the working speed. Being of a fully differential circuit structure, the circuit can calibrate the duty cycle under a designated process within a higher and wider frequency range, and has relatively good constraining force for process mismatch and common mode noise. The circuit comprises adjustment level ADJ1 and ADJ2, a first buffer level BUF1, a second buffer level BUF2 and a duty cycle detection level DCD.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for color conversion from one CMYK color space to another CMYK color space. The system receives a color defined by a first coordinate in the first CMYK color space. The system converts the color to a second coordinate for the second CMYK color space, and determines a location in a perceptual color space for each of the first coordinate and the second coordinate. The system further identifies a distance between the locations in the perceptual color space, and reduces the distance in the perceptual color space between the two locations by iteratively revising the second coordinate in the second CMYK color space while holding the black level of the second coordinate constant.
Abstract:
An antenna mounting structure of an electronic device includes a casing and an antenna in the casing. The antenna includes a signal receiving portion and a first securing member connecting the signal receiving portion. The first securing member defines a through hole. The casing includes a first pin, a first catch near the first pin, and a first rib extending from the first pin. The first pin extends through the through hole of the first securing member of the antenna. The first rib supports the first securing member. The first catch fixedly clasps the first securing member on the first pin and the first rib.
Abstract:
A return-type current-reuse mixer having a transconductance/amplification stage, a mixing stage, and a high-pass and a low-pass filter network. The transconductance/amplification stage has a current-reuse CMOS topology wherein an input frequency signal is converted into a frequency current, low-frequency components are removed from the frequency current by the high-pass filter network, the frequency current is fed into the mixing stage, modulation occurs in the mixing stage, and then an intermediate-frequency signal is generated and output. Once high-frequency components are removed from the intermediate-frequency signal by the low-pass filter network, the intermediate-frequency signal is sent again for input into the transconductance/amplification stage, then amplified in the transconductance/amplification stage and output. The mixer transconductance/amplification stage employs a current-reuse technique. The input frequency and the output intermediate-frequency signal share a common transconductance/amplification stage. The mixer reduces power consumption, simplifies the circuit topology, and provides high conversion gain.
