    Abstract: A reinforcing structure of an electrical receptacle connector includes an insulation housing, a terminal group, and a reinforcing sheet. The insulation housing includes a substrate and a tongue portion extending to one side of the substrate. The tongue portion includes a top surface, a bottom surface, and a front side surface between the top surface and the bottom surface. The terminal group is provided on the bottom surface, and includes a power supply terminal and a grounding terminal. A rubbed wall is formed between the power supply terminal and the front side surface, and the reinforcing sheet is provided on the top surface. The reinforcing sheet includes a front baffle and a recessed portion, the front baffle is fixed on the front side surface, and the recessed portion inwardly curves to be formed on the front baffle and corresponds to the rubbed wall.

    Abstract: An optical fiber connector comprises a ferrule, a fastening tube, and a cover plate. The ferrule comprises a through hole and a breach. Front and rear parts of the through hole respectively comprise a pre-embedded optical fiber and a field optical fiber. A joint of the two optical fibers is located at the breach. A part of the through hole is exposed in the breach. The fastening tube comprises a ferrule accommodating portion accommodating a part of the ferrule on which the breach is disposed, and an opening disposed thereon. The opening connects the ferrule accommodating portion, and is positionally corresponding to the breach. The cover plate passes through the opening, is disposed in the breach, and presses the joint. The ferrule is easily machined and can adopt a material hardly influenced by environment temperature. The joint is fixed, and an amount of joint loss is stable.

    Abstract: A connector assembly has a plug and socket; the plug includes an insulative body, at least one first power contact, at least one second power contact and a metal shield. The insulative body has a base portion and a tongue portion extending from the base portion. The tongue portion includes a plurality of power contact grooves and penetrates through the base portion, and at least one first convex portion defined in a periphery of the tongue portion. The first power contact and the second power contact are respectively formed on the power contact grooves of the insulative body for connection to a power source in a socket of host device. The metal shield encloses the tongue portion of the insulative body to cover the tongue portion. Consequently, the charging speed can be increased, reducing charging time.

    Abstract: A chip card connector includes a housing and a plurality of terminals. The housing has a partition part and a plurality of openings formed on two sides of the partition part. The terminals are disposed in the openings. E ach of the terminals has a first end embedded in or movably attached to the partition part, a second end penetrating a side surface of the housing and exposed from the housing, and a protruding contact part disposed between the first and second end for making contact with a chip card. Therefore, the problem of the prior art is solved that a chip card is likely to hook the contact part pf a conventional chip card connector that has the contact part extending from a cantilever of a terminal when the chip card is plugged into or unplugged from the chip card connector and the terminal are easily deformed or damaged.
