Abstract: A terminal structure includes a terminal body, a locking means formed on at least one face of the terminal body, an insertion unit extending from a first end of the terminal body, and a holding mechanism extending from a second end of the terminal body. The insertion unit is mounted on a circuit board. The circuit board defines multiple conducting holes. The insertion unit is inserted into and locked in one of the conducting holes of the circuit board. The holding mechanism includes two opposite clamping arms and a clamping space defined between the two clamping arms. An electronic element is held by the holding mechanism. The electronic element has multiple lead legs. One of the lead legs of the electronic element is clamped between the two clamping arms and held in the clamping space.

Abstract: An electrical connector is provided, including an insulating body, multiple terminals, and a metallic plate. The insulating body has a base portion and a tongue portion. Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, a plurality of terminals, and a metallic plate. The terminals and the metallic plate are at the insulated housing. The terminals are held at the insulated housing and arranged into two rows. The metallic plate is at a tongue portion of the insulated housing and between the terminals which are arranged into two rows. The metallic plate has a main body and a plurality of extension portions. Each of the extension portions extends outwardly from the main body and corresponds to a protrusion of a corresponding one of the terminals. A distance between each of the protrusions and a corresponding one of the extension portions is less than a distance between each of the contact portions and the corresponding one of the extension portions. A retaining spacing is between the protrusions of the terminals and the extension portions of the metallic plate.

Abstract: An electrical connector configured to be assembled to a circuit board is provided. The electrical connector includes an insulating body having a base and a tongue, a plurality of terminals disposed in the insulating body, a first metal shell covering the insulating body, and a second metal shell covering the insulating body and the first metal shell. The first metal shell has a plurality of soldering feet soldered to the circuit board, and the second metal shell has a plurality of second metal pin soldered to the circuit board. The first and the second metal pin are beside the base and away from the tongue. At least one of the first metal shell and the insulating body has a supporting portion abutting against a non-conducting portion of the circuit board. The supporting portion is close to the tongue and away from the base.
