Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for receiving a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) by a UE in a wireless communication system. Particularly, the method includes receiving information on a measurement bandwidth and cell list information for a plurality of cells, receiving CSI-RSs of the plurality of cells, and measuring reception power for the CSI-RSs within the measurement bandwidth, wherein sequences of the CSI-RSs are mapped to physical resources based on the same reference position configured by a higher layer.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for communicating demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) for a PBCH (Physical Broadcast Channel) signal are disclosed. The method comprises mapping a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) to resource elements on a first group of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Divisional Multiplex) symbols within a synchronization signal (SS) block. Here, the first group of OFDM symbols includes two OFDM symbols. The method also comprises mapping the PBCH signal to resource elements on a second group of OFDM symbols within the SS block. Here, the second group of OFDM symbols includes two or more OFDM symbols. Further, the method comprises mapping the DMRSs for the PBCH signal to the resource elements on the second group of OFDM symbols within the SS block.

The method performed by the user equipment comprises performing zero padding for a first vector, wherein the first vector represents a channel state measured by a receive antenna for a first transmit antenna; performing IFFT for a second vector, wherein the second vector is obtained by performing the zero padding for the first vector; performing receive antenna combining for a third vector, wherein the third vector is obtained by performing IFFT for the second vector; and detecting a maximum element from a fourth vector, wherein the fourth vector is obtained by performing the receive antenna combining for the third vector.
