Abstract:
A method for installing a retrofit conversion kit for converting a door operating apparatus from overhead use to underground use and for operating a swinging door while protecting the door apparatus against moisture and dust encroachment within its underground location. A seal arrangement provides this contamination encroachment protection.
Abstract:
The present application is directed to a manual or automatic flush threshold door seal system used on folding exterior doors along with an alternate embodiment for conventional exterior entryway doors that will not impede the passage of a wheelchair. A flexible weather seal can be put in a retracted or down position within an aluminum extrusion imbedded within the threshold providing a flush access surface and may be raised up into the upright position providing an adequate weather seal.
Abstract:
A sliding door with reversible hand configurations can include a plurality of mounting locations along a top and a bottom edge thereof. The plurality of mounting locations can be configured to allow the sliding door to selectively hang and operate according to multiple orientations in order to satisfy site-specific handedness requirements. In one implementation, the sliding door includes a door frame and mounting hardware for selectively mounting the sliding door to a roller track affixed near the upper portion of a doorway.
Abstract:
A slide door is provided to be movable between a closed position to cover a side opening formed at a vehicle-body side face and an open position. The slide door is configured to move outward and subsequently slide rearward along a rear vehicle-body outer face when the slide door moves from the closed position to the open position. There is provided a detection sensor to detect a foreign matter in coming into a gap from a vehicle-compartment inside. A drive of the slide door is stopped in case the detection sensor detects the foreign matter in coming into the gap when the slide door moves toward the open position. Thereby, any foreign matter can be prevented from being pinched in the gap formed between the slide door and the rear edge portion of the side opening.
Abstract:
A housing for protecting a garage door safety beam emitter or receiver from impact and from the elements. The housing has a transverse plane of symmetry such that the same style housing may be used over the emitter and over the receiver, the housings being minor images of each other when installed. The housing includes a flange by which the housing may be attached to a garage door track or to the framework around the garage door. The housing preferably is formed of plastic such that it can be trimmed to accommodate installation, for example, around a foundation and includes a side wall with an aperture through which LED diagnostic lights associated with the emitter or receiver may be viewed.
Abstract:
A carriage which serves to hold a panel, has at least one running element such as a magnet, a wheel and/or a sliding element which is held by at least one corresponding magnetic element or supported on a running surface of an at least approximately U-profile or L-profile-shaped rail. The carriage comprises one or two carriage parts which can be anchored to the panel by mounting elements, such that the two carriage parts can be anchored on the opposing sides (4a, 4b) of the panel. One carriage part is further contemplated, which can be introduced into a groove arranged on the upper side of the panel between the sides and anchored there by the mounting elements. Further provided is a carriage and a mounting device which can be coupled to the carriage and to the glass panel with two assembly parts which are each formed or mounted on one side on the upper side or within a groove of the panel.
Abstract:
A household appliance including a body; a door closing an interior compartment of the body and connected to the body by a hinge; an overlaid decorative plate that is distanced from the door by a gap; a covering element having a first limb that extends over a lateral wall of the body and a second limb that engages in the gap; and a first mounting part that is mounted in the gap on the overlaid decorative plate and that delimits a recess of at least one part of the second limb. The first mounting part has an abutment that defines a maximum depth up to which the second limb is introduced into the recess. A spacer is fixed on the first mounting part to enable mounting of the first mounting part at a distance from an edge of the overlaid decorative plate, wherein the distance is fixed by the spacer.
Abstract:
A hinge structure for accommodating a cable includes a main body. An accommodating space is formed inside the main body. A hole connecting to the accommodating space is formed on the main body. The cable passes through the hole so as to be accommodated inside the accommodating space partly. The hinge structure further includes a fixing component disposed on a side of the main body and connected to a first component, and a pivoting component connected with the main body and a second component in a rotatable manner, so that the second component can rotate relative to the first component. The hinge structure further includes a covering component for covering the hole on the main body so as to hold the cable inside the accommodating space.
Abstract:
The subject-matter of the invention is a cover which may be lowered to conceal sliding door support mechanisms in furniture, to overlap the upper edge of the cupboard compartment in order to conceal from view the movement and support mechanisms of said sliding doors (20, 30), wherein a cover (50) having a length approximately the same as the width of the useful compartment of cupboard (A), whereby said cover (50) may be placed in a lowered position to allow doors (20, 30) to be applied to tracks (41, 42) of a guide rail (40), and in a raised position, concealing from view the movement and support mechanisms of said doors (20, 30).
Abstract:
An appliance having a carcass, a door hinged onto the carcass, and a frame attached to the carcass surrounding edges of the door. In an exemplary embodiment, on at least one hinge-side sidewall of the carcass, the frame may form at least one sidewall of an open slot, and a leaf-type anti-trap element may extend in an outward direction from the door into the open slot.
