Abstract:
Proposed is a hinge device having tension maintaining function, the hinge device including: a winding member affixed to a main body of a mounted structure having an inner space formed therein; a hinge member affixed to a door that opens or closes the inner space and mounted on the winding member so as to enable the door to be pivotable; and a tension member having one end affixed to the winding member and the other end affixed to the hinge member, such that the tension member transmits a tension to the door when opening and closing the door.
Abstract:
An operable panel for an appliance includes a top panel that defines a hinge receptacle. A lid includes a hinge housing. A hinge is disposed within the hinge housing and extends between the lid and the top panel. A retainer includes a cap and a resilient portion. The retainer partially surrounds the hinge and the cap encloses the hinge housing. The resilient portion of the retainer biases the hinge toward the cap and the hinge receptacle.
Abstract:
A control motion hinge, comprising a first leaf hinge with three knuckles to secure a first pin, wherein the two outer knuckles have roller knuckles, a link having a two knuckles on a first end to interlock with the first leaf hinge and a single knuckle on a second end, a second leaf hinge with two knuckles to secure a second pin when interlocked with the second end of the link, wherein the two knuckles of the second leaf hinge have a roller path for engaging the roller of the first leaf hinge, wherein such rollers traverse the roller path, and thus softly closing the door reducing the sound of closure during the final approach of the door.

Abstract:
A sleeve joint type hinge includes a barrel, a pivot shaft, inserted into and rotatable relative to the barrel, and an arched resilient friction member, which has two hooked portions respectively extending from the two distal ends thereof and hooked on the periphery of the pivot shaft and a middle protruding portion kept spaced from a tangential peripheral plane of the pivot shaft and disposed in close contact with the inside wall of the barrel to produce a friction resistance and to hold the pivot shaft positively in positive after each rotary motion of the pivot shaft relative to the barrel by an external biasing force.
Abstract:
Device for connecting a displaceable element, especially a glass, metal or wooden panel to a guiding device that is guided in a rail. The device includes first and second fixing members which each contain outer panels and fitting, elements which can be interconnected by an axle. The fitting elements are inserted into a cutout section on the edge of the displaceable element and interconnected. The fitting elements encompass a connection screw which can be connected to the guide device, the connection screw having a screw shaft with a screw head, a locking element and a thread. The fitting element of the first fixing member has a channel for receiving the screw shaft, the channel having channel walls, a trough for receiving the screw head and a cavity for receiving the securing element. The locking element can be stopped by a stop screw. The fitting element of the second fixing member has a recess for receiving the channel walls and an opening through which the screw head can be accessed. The assembled device can be adjusted by loosening the stop screws by a few turns and turning the connection screw until the displaceable element is set at the desired height. The stop screws are then re-tightened. The locking element is part of the connection screw and is encompassed in the device so that the top edge of the displaceable element can be drawn practically up to the rail.
Abstract:
A hinge for furniture or the like, which comprises a hinge arm, a hinge box that can be fixed to a door and connected, so that it can oscillate, to the hinge arm by an articulation system, that comprises a first, inner rocker which is connected, so that it can oscillate, with the hinge arm and with the hinge box by a first and a second articulation axis respectively and a second, outer rocker which is connected, so that it can oscillate, with the hinge arm and with the hinge box by a third and a fourth articulation axis respectively; the hinge further comprises a stressing lever supported so that it can oscillate by the first articulation axis of the first rocker and functionally connected to the first rocker, or supported so that it can oscillate by the third articulation axis of the second rocker and functionally connected to the second rocker.
Abstract:
A modular rail system for suspending sliding doors, including at least one rail profile having a top side arranged for being fixed against a horizontal wall part, a bottom side having a rail portion for carrying suspension wheels of a sliding door, a first lateral side arranged for being fixed against a vertical wall part, and an open second lateral side. On both opposite lateral sides the rail profile includes recesses having substantially the same shape for engaging complementary spacer elements. A sliding door system including a rail system, at least one sliding door with suspension wheels and at least one repositionable braking/stopping element having a stop for defining an extreme position of the sliding door and a releasable fixing element for fixing the braking/stopping element in the rail system. The fixing element is spaced a predetermined distance from the stop, chosen for maintaining user accessibility to the fixing element while the stop is located in a user inaccessible position.
Abstract:
A carriage for fitting a suspendable door on a rail is described. The carriage includes a housing and at least one running roller disposed on the housing. The running roller is positioned to engage the rail. An installation plate is included that is adapted to be connected to the suspendable door. A suspension bolt is connected between the housing and the installation plate. A portion of the suspension bolt engages a bearing disposed at one end of either the housing or the installation plate. The bearing permits at least angular displacement if the suspension bolt with respect to either the housing or the installation plate.
