    摘要: A plunger assembly for a glass forming machine comprises an assembly housing (6), at which a drive (17) is in contact with a drive spindle, which is supported in an axially non-displaceable manner, via an angular gear, which drive spindle, in turn, engages with a spindle nut, the spindle nut housing (18) of which is set up via an assembly (19) by interpositioning pressing force limiters for transferring the pressing force required for a forming process to two plungers (1, 2). The assembly (19) can be displaced in a non-rotatable manner along two guide columns (7, 8), which are arranged parallel to one another in a housing-fixed manner, and the spindle nut housing (18) engages with two lateral linear guides, which are also arranged in a housing-fixed manner. The connection between the assembly (19) and the spindle nut housing (18) is designed in such a way that only forces in the direction of the pressing force are transferred, so that any other forces and moments originating from the forming process are transferred to the housing, so that in particular the drive spindle is only axially stressed.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for detecting defects in the walls of hollow glass items that rotate about their longitudinal axis during inspection, which method is characterised by the production of an image series (4) that is binarised using a grey-scale value threshold image (5), wherein the threshold values of the threshold image (5) are measured differently according to the fixed positions of radiation-receiving elements used to display images. The images of the image series (10) formed by binarising the original image series (4) are combined in a histogram (6) that locally adds up the frequency of an occurrence of, inter alia, defect pixels representing static reflections within the sensor regions of the image series (10). Based on this histogram (6), a two-dimensional fade-out mask (12) is formed on which the regions of static reflections are combined, and by means of which the sensor regions (18) of the original image series (4) are masked, such that a masked image series (16) is produced, said series having images, in particular sensor regions characterised in that static reflections are faded out on same, whereby a subsequent flaw-detecting evaluation (17) of the images can be carried out, independent of their sequence.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for supplying lubricating points of an I.S. glassware forming machine, wherein a used lubrication system comprises a plurality of lubricant metering devices (29) that are provided to output lubricant to a plurality of lubricating points, that are to be lubricated, of the glassware forming machine and are allocated in each case to one of several lubrication circuits (23-28). The lubricant metering devices of a respective lubrication circuit simultaneously output a predetermined amount of lubricant in each case cyclically with a time interval allocated to the lubrication circuit. The lubricant metering devices are allocated to lubrication circuits in dependence upon temperatures that have been measured in direct proximity to lubricating points, and are allocated such that the temperatures of the lubricating points of a lubrication circuit are within a predetermined temperature range. The amounts of lubricant provided at the lubricating points are controlled in that the length of the time interval allocated to a lubrication circuit is determined in dependence upon temperatures, that have been measured in direct proximity to lubricating points of the lubrication circuit, using a set of evaporation characteristics of the lubricant. In accordance with the invention, the consumption of lubricant can be further reduced. The invention further relates to a device for implementing the method.

An approximately exponential transfer curve of the pushing fingers (12) that begins at the depositing plate and ends on the belt conveyor and subjects the hollow glass articles to the least possible stress can be realized with simple means by controlling the two rotary drives (13, 15′).

    摘要: A process and a device for pushing hollow glass objects off a glass forming machine onto a moving conveyor belt are disclosed. Each hollow glass object is pushed by a push-off unit from a dead plate along a curved path onto the conveyor belt in such a way that the curved path is brought tangentially to a contact point in a movement direction of the conveyor belt. Subsequent to the contact point each hollow glass object is pushed further by the push-off unit by a further linear path portion in the movement direction of the conveyor belt as far as a release point at which the push-off unit is released from the hollow glass object. The push-off unit is then moved back to dead plate.

    摘要: The gob distributor for a glass forming machine has at least one scoop channel which can be pivoted in a reciprocating manner about a vertical axis. A lower end of each scoop channel can be successively orientated, by the pivoting motion, so as to be aligned with a channel system leading to the respective section. An annular pinion is disposed coaxially with an upper end of each scoop channel. A drive has an electric servomotor which is connected to the at least one annular pinion via a gear mechanism. The gear mechanism includes a screw which can be rotationally driven in a reciprocating manner by the electric servomotor, a worm wheel engaged with the screw, and a toothed wheel which is non-rotational and coaxial with respect to the worm wheel. The toothed wheel is in a driving connection with the at least one annular pinion by means of intermediate wheels.

The device includes a first shaft rotatable about an axis. A housing is attached to the first shaft. A carrying arm is slidably mounted on the housing and has a finger at one end for engaging the object. A guide piece having a groove is attached to the other end of the carrying arm. A crank arm engages the groove. The crank arm is connected to a second shaft coaxial with the first shaft. The shafts rotate independently of one another. Each shaft has its own drive unit. Rotation of the first shaft rotates the carrying arm about the first axis and rotation of the second shaft causes sliding motion of the carrying arm along its longitudinal axis.
