    Abstract: An electrical connector suited for being assembled to a circuit board is provided. The electrical connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of terminals disposed in the insulating body, a first metallic shell sheathing the insulating body to form an insertion space, a second metallic shell superposed on the first metallic shell, and a metallic plate disposed in the insulating body. The second metallic shell has a rear plate opposite to the rear interface, and is not electrically connected to the circuit board. The metallic plate has at least one bending extending out of the insulating body to abut the rear plate, such that the metallic plate and the second metallic shell are electrically conducted.

    Abstract: A shielding member includes a frame body and an outer cover. Two sides of a first end of the frame body respectively include a first shaft portion. Two sides of the frame body respectively include a first side plate. The frame body is covered by the outer cover. Two sides of a first end of the outer cover respectively include a second shaft portion, and each of the second shaft portions is pivotally connected to the corresponding first shaft portion. Two sides of the outer cover respectively include a second side plate, and each of the second side plates covers an outer side of the corresponding first side plate. Accordingly, the frame body and the outer cover are assembled to form a one-piece metallic shielding member. The structure of the shielding member is simple, the manufacturing for the shielding member is easy, and the cost for manufacturing the shielding member is reduced.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, receptacle terminals, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion outwardly extending from the base portion. A coverage region adjacent to the base portion is held on a surface of the tongue portion. The receptacle terminals are held in the base portion and disposed at the surface of the tongue portion. The receptacle terminals include a body portion and a contact portion, the body portion is held in the base portion and the tongue portion, and the contact portion is outwardly extending from one end of the body portion. Each of the receptacle terminals includes an avoidance portion between the contact portion and the body portion. The avoidance portion of each of the receptacle terminals is covered by the coverage region of the tongue portion.

    Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes a metallic shell and first and second insulated housings in the metallic shell. An insertion cavity is between an inner side of an assembly of the first insulated housing and the second insulated housing. The first terminals, from right to left, include a rightmost first ground terminal, a pair of first high-speed signal terminals, a first power terminal, a first function detection terminal, a pair of first low-speed signal terminals, and a leftmost first ground terminal.     Abstract: A dual-row cable structure is applied to a first circuit board and a second circuit board. A board-to-board connector is on the first circuit board, and the first circuit board includes a first group of contacts and a second group of contacts. An electrical connector is on the second circuit board. The second circuit board includes a third group of contacts and a fourth group of contacts. The dual-row cable structure includes a wire assembly including high-speed signal wires, low-speed signal wires, one or more power wires, and one or more ground wires. The high-speed signal wires are connected to the first group of contacts. The low-speed signal wires, the power wire, and the ground wire are respectively connected to the second group of contacts. The third group of contacts and the fourth group of contacts are respectively connected to the other end of the wire assembly.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing in a metallic shell. First and second receptacle terminals are on the insulated housing. The receptacle terminals include first and second high-speed signal terminals. The metallic shell includes a receptacle cavity for receiving the insulated housing, an insertion opening being in communication with the receptacle cavity, pins at two sides of the metallic shell and outwardly extending, and an external protruding structure on a bottom surface for connecting to a circuit board. The external protruding structure forms an enclosed structure. Therefore, the seamless configuration improves the reduction to electromagnetic interference.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a insulated block, first receptacle terminals, second receptacle terminals, an insulated housing, and a metallic shell. A first surface of the insulated block includes a plurality of first engaging grooves for holding the first receptacle terminals, and a second surface of the insulated block includes a plurality second engaging grooves. Accordingly, when the insulated block is formed in a first molding procedure, the first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals are respectively positioned on the insulated block. Next, a second molding procedure is applied to form the insulated housing out of the insulated block. Therefore, the difficulties in manufacturing the components of the connector and the cost for manufacturing the connector can be reduced, while the manufacturing efficiency of the connector can be improved.

    Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, contact terminals held in the insulated housing, an outer shell covering the insulated housing, and hook members. First buckle structures are at side arms at two sides of the insulated housing. Each of the hook members includes a second buckle structure mating with the corresponding first buckle structure. The buckle structures are of crescent shapes and mated with each other. When the press portion of the hook member is pressed by an excessive force, the first/second buckle structure stops the second/first buckle structure to prevent the elastic arm of the hook member from deforming. When the elastic arm is bounced back excessively, the first/second buckle structure stops the second/first buckle structure to prevent the hook member from detaching off the side arm.
