摘要： Aspects of the present invention describe a method of introducing items into a distribution network. Before entering items into the distribution network, the item is placed in an identifiable packaging that has an identifier. The identifier associated with the item and packaging is stored in an item identifier database and then the item is distributed into the distribution network. Another aspect of the present invention includes the identification and authentication of the items received from the distribution network. These operations include first receiving the item and corresponding identifier from the distribution network. The identifier associated with the item is read and then cross referenced with the item identifier database. A determination is made whether the identifier associated with the received item matches an entry in item identifier database or not. The item is indicated as authentic when the identifier matches the entry in the item identifier database.

摘要： A method for printing an image in a distributed network system is described. The distributed network system includes an image provider system, a printing service provider system, and a user terminal coupled together via a network. First, a low resolution version of the image is received in the user terminal from the image provider system. The user can customize the low resolution image using typical image processing operations. The low resolution version of the image is then sent to the printing service provider system if the image is determined to be printed. Then the printing service provider system receives a high resolution version of the image from the image provider system such that the high resolution version instead of the low resolution version of the image is printed by the printing service provider system. The customization of the low resolution image is applied to the high resolution image before it is printed. A system for printing an image in a distributed network system is also described.

The first set of coordinates are defined by a position determining system disposed in the symmetric environment which uses a first coordinate system. A second set of coordinates for the plurality of locations in the symmetric environment are accessed. The second set of coordinates are defined by a second coordinate system. The first set of coordinates are correlated with the second set of coordinates. Then, at least one matrix is determined that is useable to convert a set of coordinates defined by the first coordinate system to a corresponding set of coordinates defined by the second coordinate system.

The system further includes a navigation unit for navigating through the network of sensor elements displayed by the display unit, and a processing unit for selecting one of the cameras as the source of the video stream based on a current navigation position in the network of sensor elements.
