Abstract: A method for providing a content download service and a terminal apparatus applying the method are provided in which the terminal apparatus transmits terminal apparatus information to a first server, the first server transmits the received terminal apparatus information to a second server, and the second server receives a download request for predetermined content based on the received terminal apparatus information. Therefore, it is possible for a user to access the second server and check the terminal apparatus information, even though the terminal apparatus is powered off.
