Abstract:
The device for regulating the pressure of a sanitary hot water circuit and, consequently, a flow rate of hot water exiting at least one outlet forming part of a sanitary hot water distribution installation having at least one source of hot water supplying a pump (2) that pressurizes the hot water, at least one circuit of small-bore pipes (5.2) conveying the pressurized hot water to at least one outlet (41), and a regulating system is characterized in that the regulating system has a pressure reducer (90) positioned upstream of each small-bore hot water circuit, and in that the device has means for determining the pressure in each small-bore pipe (5.2) at the outlet or outlets and for transmitting this pressure information to the corresponding pressure reducer (90) at the outlet or outlets. The invention also relates to the method implementing this device.
Abstract:
The conveyor installation makes it possible to control the speed of items of the bottle (1) type dispatched in several trains distributed across various paths in the form of single-file lanes (11). The lanes are delimited by a pair of walls (16, 17) which are arranged in an omega shape over a base plate made up of several juxtaposed conveyors (13, 14, 15). Each lane (11) may comprise a fixed wall (16) acting as a reference, and a moving wall (17) that can be adjusted according to the dimensions of the items that are to be conveyed.
Abstract:
Substituted aryl-boron compounds comprising at least one 18F atom, as illustrated by the formula (I), where at least one of Y1 or Y2 is 18F and A1 is a substituted aromatic ring, with G1-5 being, independently, C or N, and where the substitutents of the aromatic ring or polycyclic moiety (other than boron) comprise at least one electron-withdrawing group (EWG), providing that sigma total (σtotal) for all substituents on the aromatic ring or polycyclic moiety except B is about 0.06 or more when said at least one EWG is positioned ortho to B, or about 0.2 or more when no EWG is positioned ortho to B. The compounds include neutral (N=1) and ionic borate (N=2) embodiments. The compounds are useful as positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agents.
Abstract:
A dynamo powered amusement device is provided that has multiple amusement functions integrated into a housing. The amusement functions include two or more of a movement, a light emitting diode illumination, an auditory output and a video presentation. The electrical power source for the amusement functions is a manually powered dynamo. The direct current generated by a dynamo is provided to a printed circuit board in electrical communication with the amusement functions so as to provide power directly from the manually powered dynamo or, if a chargeable battery is present, to supply power from the chargeable battery. The amusement device provides enhanced performance relative to mechanical amusement devices while avoiding costs and environment problems associated with disposable battery containing amusement devices.
Abstract:
An electric arc welder power supply housing assembly is described in which it is possible to clean internal component parts is achieved by positioning cooling components on a rail system. The rail system may include at least one telescoping track assembly. When the telescoping track assembly is engaged, the housing assembly is in an open position, thus providing access for the maintenance of internal components therein without having to disassemble unnecessary components or parts of the welding power supply.
Abstract:
An electronic module is employed with at least one interiorly positioned fastener that at least partially secures a central region of the electronic module to an object to prevent bowing or warping. The module contains a base, at least two peripheral fasteners at opposed ends of the module, and the at least one interiorly positioned fastener, wherein the base is capable of accepting electronic components and further includes at least one layer, and wherein the at least one interiorly positioned fastener is interposed between the at least two peripheral fasteners.
Abstract:
A welding system component includes a circuit board for the welding system component. An interface has a main riser portion with a fastener passageway formed therethrough. The interface has an extension portion with a terminal passageway formed therethrough. The extension portion is electrically connected to the circuit board with a terminal disposed in the terminal passageway. The extension portion is spaced away from a surface of the circuit board. A capacitor is electrically connected to the main riser portion with a fastener disposed in the fastener passageway.
Abstract:
The guide (3) of the invention includes two portions: a rail (11) in the form of a relatively rigid metal strip; and a profile (12) made of a thermoplastic material and snap-fitted onto said rail (11), said profile (12) being shaped so as to have a variable section on the entire height thereof for promoting the contact between said guide and the conveyed products at the lower portion of said products. The rail (11) includes a longitudinal rib (13) for stiffening and housing the heads of the screws (14) used for securing the same on the holder (2).
Abstract:
A modular welding wire feed drive for use in a welding system. The welding wire feed drive is designed to be detachably connected to the welding wire feed system of the welding system. The welding wire feed drive includes a drive housing designed to be detachably connectable to the welding wire feed system, a wire contact arrangement designed to controllably feed welding wire through the welding wire feed drive, and a drive motor that is connected to or interconnected to the wire contact arrangement to at least partially drive the wire contact arrangement.
Abstract:
A headlamp includes a base having a front face defining a first imaginary plane along the front face and a first imaginary line orthogonal to the first plane. A light assembly is rotatably secured about the front face to the base. The light assembly includes a bezel having a rear surface defining a second imaginary plane along the rear surface and a second imaginary line orthogonal to the second plane so that the intersection of the first line and the second line defines a rotation angle that varies with the rotation of the light assembly relative to the base, thereby changing the attitude of the headlamp light assembly.
