Abstract:
An image forming apparatus having a first image forming unit and a second image forming including a printing medium supplier which supplies a printing medium, a selection guide which selectively guides the printing medium from the printing medium supplier to one of a first supplying path of the first image forming unit and a second supplying path of the second image forming unit, and a first feed roller which is disposed between the selection guide and the printing medium supplier, and transfers the printing medium from the printing medium supplier to the selection guide.
Abstract:
A thermal type image forming apparatus is provided for printing images on both sides of a medium, which are a first surface and a second surface of the medium. A thermal print head (TPH) is rotated about a platen roller to a first position facing the first surface of the medium and to a second position facing the second surface of the medium. The thermal type image forming apparatus includes a transfer unit for transferring the medium in a first direction to supply the medium to a space between the platen roller and the thermal print head and in a second direction substantially opposite to the first direction to perform printing. A control member controls motion of the platen roller in the second direction to align a printing nip formed by the platen roller and the TPH with a heating line of the thermal print head. The platen roller is elastically biased in a direction to contact the control member.
Abstract:
A camera including a lens protection cap is provided. The camera includes a case, a lens, a power switch, and the lens protection cap. The lens is located inside the case and exposed toward a front side. The power switch is provided on the outer surface of the case, for turning the power on/off, and the lens protection cap is provided to prevent damage of the lens by shielding the lens when the power is turned off. The power switch and the lens protection cap are directly connected with each other to allow the lens protection cap to expose/shield the lens when the power switch is on/off-operated.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an image forming apparatus including a body housing in which an opening is formed for providing removal/mounting access of a removable cartridge; a door member for selectively closing the opening. The removable cartridge includes a cartridge status chip in which predetermined information relating to the removable cartridge is recorded. The door member of the image forming apparatus and the removable cartridge may each be provided with respective contact terminal or terminals that engage when the door member is closed with the removable cartridge received in the body housing of the image forming apparatus. The controller of the image forming apparatus uses the electrical continuity information of the contact terminal or terminals in order to determine the closure status of the door member and to control the operation of the image forming apparatus accordingly.
Abstract:
A mobile image forming apparatus is provided that comprises a casing, a support frame to surround a printing medium roll from which a printing medium is supplied and to guide the printing medium, an image forming unit to form an image on the printing medium guided by the support frame and a printing medium receiving portion disposed between the casing and the support frame to receive therein the printing medium on which the image is formed by the image forming unit. The mobile image forming apparatus may further comprise a roll support core disposed in the support frame to rotatably support the printing medium roll.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus is provided and includes a platen roller and a thermal printing head. The thermal printing head is elastically biased toward the platen roller and rotates about a pivot of the platen roller for moving between first and second positions to faces first and second surfaces of a medium. A transfer portion has driving and driven rollers which are rotatably engageable with each other to transfer the media. A guiding unit reduces a difference of media transfer force of the transfer portion when the thermal printing head is respectively located in the first and second positions.
Abstract:
An image storage apparatus and method are provided, in which a docking unit is connected with an image capturing device, a reader reads image data generated by the image capturing device from the image capturing device, a data storage unit stores the read image data, and a print controller controls an image forming device to print the stored image data by transmitting the stored image data to the image forming device. Accordingly, the image data stored in the image capturing device can be easily and quickly stored separately and printed. In addition, the image storage apparatus can perform other jobs even when printing is being performed, and various functions can be provided by supporting peripherals.
Abstract:
A thermal image forming apparatus is provided adapted to form images on both sides of a recording medium. The thermal image forming apparatus includes an image forming part having a recording head for forming an image on the recording medium and a support member facing the recording head and supporting the recording medium with respect to the recording head. The recording medium has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. A position changing unit rotates the recording head around a shaft of the support member to move the recording head to first and second locations respectively facing the first and second sides of the recording medium.
Abstract:
A thermal image forming apparatus includes a platen roller, a thermal head facing a lower circumferential surface of the platen roller to form a first printing location and facing an upper circumferential surface of the platen roller to form a second printing location, a conveying part to convey a recording medium such that the recording medium passes through the first and second printing locations, and a guide roller to prevent the recording medium from being bent near the first and second printing locations by supporting the recording medium between the platen roller and the conveying part.
