    Abstract: The rewinding machine for the formation of logs (L) of web material (N) wound on a core (A), includes a first winder roller (15) around which the web material (N) is fed, and a second winder roller (17) forming, with the first winder roller, a nip (19) through which the core (A) and the web material (N) pass. A web material-severing device (43) cooperates with the first roller (15). Located upstream of the nip (19), with respect to the direction of movement of the web material (N), is a surface (33) defining, with the roller (15), a channel (39) into which the core (A) is inserted. A conveyor (47; 57; 67) introduces a core into the channel (39).     Abstract: The grinding unit includes a slide provided with a movement towards and away from the disc-shaped cutting blade. On the slide, at least a first grinding wheel and a second grinding wheel are arranged so as to act on a first flank and on a second flank of a cutting edge of the disc-shaped cutting blade.     Abstract: The packaging machine includes a wrapping tunnel, adapted to form a tube of plastic film around a group of articles and a feed conveyor, adapted to feed articles to be packaged toward the wrapping tunnel. An elevator is positioned between the feed conveyor and the wrapping tunnel, and is movable vertically from a lower position, to receive articles coming from the feed conveyor, to a higher height, to transfer articles to the wrapping tunnel. A pusher is arranged to push articles to be packaged from the elevator into the wrapping tunnel. An auxiliary conveyor is also provided between the feed conveyor and the elevator. An upender is associated with the auxiliary conveyor, adapted to be arranged selectively in an active position, to co-act with the auxiliary conveyor to upend articles coming from the feed conveyor and transfer them toward the elevator, and in a deactivated position.

    Abstract: The wrapping machine includes a feed path of products to be wrapped in a wrapping sheet and, along the feed path, an insertion station of products to be wrapped in a wrapping sheet and folding members of the wrapping sheet. The machine further includes a conveyor device, which receives the products in the insertion station and causes their feed through the folding members. The conveyor device includes a system of endless flexible members formed by toothed belts guided around toothed wheels. Each toothed belt includes a first series of internal teeth, cooperating with toothed guide wheels, and a second series of external teeth, cooperating with connection elements of carriages that carry prongs for feeding the products to be wrapped. The connection elements include toothed profiles complementary to the external teeth of the toothed belts, suitable to provide a shape coupling with the external teeth of the respective toothed belts.

    Abstract: The unwinder includes an unwinding station, in which to arrange a reel to be unwound. In the unwinding station there is arranged a series of guide rollers, defining a feed path of the web material. There are also provided: a cutting member adapted to cut a web material coming from an exhausted reel, and splicing members, to splice a trailing edge of a first web material coming from an exhausted reel to a leading edge of a second web material coming from a new reel.     Abstract: A web material converting line is disclosed, in particular for converting tissue paper, including a plurality of converting sections arranged in sequence along a feeding direction of a web material to be converted, each section including a converting machine; at least one converting section of the converting line includes a detection system for detecting the presence of people near the converting section. The detection system includes at least a first presence sensor and is adapted to detect the presence of people in at least a controlled area. The controlled area is subdivided into an accessible area 5 that can be accessed when the line is working, and an alarm area. The detection system is adapted to distinguish between the presence of an individual in the accessible area and the presence of an individual in the alarm area. The detection system is connected to a control unit adapted to intervene on the operation of the converting section based on information provided by the detection system.
