Abstract:
The invention relates to a control feeding pan for use in a feeding system for poultry keeping, comprising a mounting element for mounting the feeding pan to a conveyor line; a feeding dish; a feeding shaft through which feed gets from a conveyor line to the feeding dish; a filling level sensor which is arranged and formed to generate a drive control signal; characterized by a signal unit arranged and formed to emit a feed signal that can be perceived by the poultry.
Abstract:
In a device for providing food to animals, comprising a feed supply and a bowl-like feeding basin serving for providing the supplied feed, the feeding basin comprising in about the center of the basin a cleaning opening that can be opened and closed by means of a closing element. The closing element is a part of the feeding basin that is placed in the cleaning opening in a flush or fitted manner, whereby both the closing element on its periphery and the feeding basin in the area of the edge compromise locking means which can be mutually actively engaged. The closing element can be fixed on or released from the feeding basin by means of said locking means both in the releasing and closing positions.
Abstract:
A slot die for producing webs of a foamed plastics material, into which die plastics material which has been plasticized under elevated pressure in an extruder and charged with a blowing agent enters, and through the die gap of which the plastics material is extruded by foaming. The die gap is formed by a pair of rollers mounted in a laterally sealed manner in the slot die. This achieves the effect that an advantageous formation of outer layers already occurs ahead of the die gap before the start of foaming.
Abstract:
A melt-sealing device for extruders for thermoplastic polymers or rubber for sealing off the gear unit side against high-melt pressure, in which sealing is effected by the configuration of the extruder screw which includes an intake section, a compression section having a channel depth that decreases in the conveying direction, a metering section with a constant screw channel depth, a smooth annular melt channel section, and a blister element with an annular gap for the sealing melt.
Abstract:
A processing machine is provided having a tool comprising at least two identical, diametrically opposite mixing fingers which revolve in the same horizontal plane. These mixing fingers have a round cross-section, are arranged very close above the bowl bottom and protrude with their free radially outer, slightly upwardly bent end into the bowl radius. Further, the mixing fingers are provided between the bowl bottom and bowl wall, and are adapted in contour outline approximately to the bowl radius. By using a round profile for the mixing fingers, both a pressure component against the bowl bottom and a raising component away from the bowl bottom are obtained. Also, due to the very small gap between the mixing fingers and the bowl bottom, an adequately high turbulence is generated so that material in this area is more fully mixed. Two mixing blades may also be provided above the mixing fingers and offset by 90.degree. in order to ensure proper mixing even of small amounts of material.
Abstract:
A gas-tight joint for pipe linings and risers inside a bore, consisting of a neck with an outside thread and of a matching collar with an inside thread, with a groove in the vicinity of the thread on the collar and/or of the thread on the neck to accommodate a deformable gasket that, when the joint is screwed tight, is demarcated and deformed by the base of the groove in the neck and/or in the collar and by the contour of the thread on the other component. The cross-sectional area demarcated by the base of the groove in the neck and/or collar and by the contour of the thread on the other component once the two components have been screwed together remains constant along the groove and is equal to or larger than the cross-sectional area of the deformable gasket before the components are screwed together.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a food processing device having a mixing drum which is disposed on a support frame such that it slightly clears the floor. A horizontal tool shaft is eccentrically disposed in the drum. The mixing drum has a hinged front cover. A transport blade is disposed in the center of the front cover, and is embodied as an angled piece and provided with its own motor. To permit the device to be cleaned simply, quickly, and reliably, a special arrangement and sliding guide is provided for the outlet slide of the mixing drum. Easily-removable fasteners and seals are provided for the transport blade, the tools, and the tool shaft which bears the tools. The fasteners and seals facilitate rinsing out in the vicinity of a passage through the wall. Furthermore, a flap which closes off a feed opening on top can be provided. The flap comprises transparent material, has a contoured inner side and is removably fastened on a pivoting axis parallel to the axis of the drum.
