Abstract:
The invention relates to a control feeding pan for use in a feeding system for poultry keeping, comprising a mounting element for mounting the feeding pan to a conveyor line; a feeding dish; a feeding shaft through which feed gets from a conveyor line to the feeding dish; a filling level sensor which is arranged and formed to generate a drive control signal; characterized by a signal unit arranged and formed to emit a feed signal that can be perceived by the poultry.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for cutting frozen pieces of meat. According to the invention, provision is made for continuously cutting these pieces of meat in a rotating set of cutters with minimum heat absorption and minimum possible emulsification to achieve a grain size of 2 to 8 mm.
Abstract:
A process for producing pumpable foodstuffs, wherein raw foodstuffs such as raw cheese is pre-comminuted, mixed with further ingredients, thermally treated by steam injection, subsequently cooled and creamed or emulsified and then fed or passed to a further working or processing operation. The present invention further relates to an apparatus for producing pumpable foodstuffs, such as processed cheese, having a treatment apparatus for raw foodstuffs, a mixer, a device or unit for heating and subsequently cooling the cheese mass and having feed pumps for the cheese mass.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a machine for the processing of foodstuffs or for the preparation of liquid or pasty pharmaceutical and chemical products, with a bowl, through the bowl bottom of which there leads a motor shaft, protruding perpendicularly into the bowl, of a motor arranged underneath the bowl, and with a shaft seal sealing off the motor shaft vacuum-tightly from the bowl bottom.A cap-shaped seal support is pushed onto the free end of the motor shaft and resets underneath the fitted bowl on a shoulder of the motor shaft and engages at a clear distance labyrinth-like with a lower peripheral cap rim over a stationary housing ring enclosing the motor shaft. The seal support is pushed over and contacts an O-ring which lies in an annular groove of the motor shaft. In the upper section of the seal support, a V-ring is loosely inserted as a sealing ring, and encloses the shaft passage in the bowl bottom with an upper V-member. With fitted bowl, the V-ring is seated under radial prestress vacuum-tightly on the motor shaft and bears with its upper V-member under axial stress against the underside of the bowl bottom.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a universal machine for the comminution, cutting, mixing, kneading, emulsifying, etc., of foods. The machine comprises a bowl with a circular cross section. The bowl according to the invention is supported on a supporting stand, and may be tipped around a tilting axle arranged horizontally under the bottom of the bowl. The bowl may be arrested in any desired tipped position. The machine further comprises a closable lid, a plurality of centered, rotating tools mounted on a tool shaft, and a motor for driving the tools disposed under the tilting axle and flanged onto the bottom of the bowl. Switching means for the motor are provided laterally on the machine. To simplify the handling of the machine and facilitate its cleaning, the switching means are housed in a control box which functions as a component of a stand for the bowl. The control box also contains the bearing for one end of the pivot axle and the electric lines to the motor.
Abstract:
Pork trimmings are continuously agitated in a vacuum while they are being subdivided into a mass of chunks into which saturated steam is thereupon admitted to cook them. While continuing the agitation, the cooking action is terminated when the temperature of the mass reaches about 125.degree.C, and thereupon the mass is cooled to about 60.degree.-95.degree.C and is comminuted and emulsified under continuing agitation. Liver pieces and binder material are then added to the agitated mass and comminution continues to comminute the liver pieces while cooling the resulting mixture to about 40.degree.-80.degree.C and admitting liquid spices into it to obtain a spiced product.

Abstract:
A method for production of a multi-layer gap-less steel pipe. An inner pipe and an outer pipe are formed from thermomechanically rolled steel strip with high notched bar impact strength by welding. The individual helical welding seam steel pipes of about the same lengths are matched with a difference of less than about one percent between the outer diameter of the inner pipe and the inner diameter of the outer pipe. The matched inner pipe is inserted into the outer pipe and the pipes are mechanically expanded with diameter control to a preset outer diameter of the multi-layer steel pipe. The resulting multi-layer steel pipe has the inner pipe disposed under compression and the outer pipe layer disposed under stress. The presence of a compression stress in the inner pipe provides a means opposed to hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion. The advantages of the helical welding seam steel pipes can be combined such as economic production, advantages relating to crack formation and crack propagation stopping, and the availability of high internal pressure loads upon use of thin, economic steel strip of different yield strength.
