    摘要: Provided is a method, system, and program for generating a status page to display on a computer display. A request for status information on a resource is received. A determination is made of an operation being performed with respect to the resource. Data is generated to display a progress bar indicating a percent of the operation that has completed. A first part of the progress bar indicates a percent of the operation that has completed and a second part of the progress bar indicates a percent of the operation that has not completed. A determination is made of an attribute of the operation. Data is then generated to display information with one of the first part or second part of the progress bar indicating the determined attribute of the operation.

    摘要: A vented sleeping bag comprising an elongate shell defining an inner volume sized and shaped to receive a user therein. The shell has a head end, a foot end, left and right sides extending longitudinally of the shell, an overlying portion which overlies the user, and an underlying portion which underlies the user. The overlying portion of the shell has at least one vent. A closure is selectively movable between a closed position for closing the vent and an open position for creating a vent opening for ventilating the inner volume of the shell.

    摘要: A latch arrangement includes a latch, a manually actuable element, a release mechanism and an electromagnet. The latch is operable to releasably retain a striker. The release mechanism is capable of being moved by the manually actuable element from a latched position to an unlatched position such that the manually actuable element unlatches the latch. The electromagnet includes first, second and third conditions. The first condition is a non-powered condition and actuation of the manually actuable element does not cause the release mechanism to unlatch the latch. The second condition is a powered condition and actuation of the manually actuable element does not cause the release mechanism to unlatch the latch. The third condition is in a non-powered condition and actuation of the manually actuable element causes the release mechanism to unlatch the latch.

    摘要: A generic device driver simulator having the knowledge of the device specific behavior moved out of simulator program code is disclosed. The generic device driver simulator includes a generic device driver for supporting application functions without device specific coding included therein, a database including device specific models of device drivers supported by the generic device driver and an interpreter for controlling the generic device driver according to the definitions of functions and data structures in the database. The generic device driver simulator also includes a watcher for defining watchpoints, the watchpoints identifying types of calls from the application. The watcher displays information when a watchpoint is triggered by a call from the application. The interpreter includes an input script for each device function or for multiple device functions that are supported by the generic device driver. The watcher supports the execution of an input script in the interpreter in response to a watchpoint being triggered.

    摘要: A framework having a plurality of directories representing different types of middlewares and distributed object systems can be constructed from data provided in a class library. Each directory includes the name and address of all service objects, located across multiple servers in the system, that supports the specific middleware or distributed object policy characteristics for that directory. One service object may be addressed through multiple directories. When a remote method call is issued by a client, a list of service objects capable of executing the call is obtained from the directories and one object selected. The policy characteristics associated with the directory from which the object address is selected, are attached to the call. These characteristics are validated when the addressed server receives the call. In this way, a client program can be written entirely independently of the middleware or peculiarity of implementation of the distributed object service.

    摘要: A rear window mirror apparatus for observing blind spot areas to the rear and side of an automobile and to optically transmit visualization thereof to the rear view mirror at the driver's station. Comprising the apparatus is a more or less U-shaped channel-like frame defining an open central cavity in which angled mirrors are secured for receiving outward reflections from blind spot areas and transmitting the reflections through a front wall aperture. A hinged lower support provides an adhesive pad for securing the frame to the window surface at the underside and an upper elongated slotted bar likewise including an adhesive pad provides for mounting the upperside onto the window surface. The longitudinal slot on the bar receives a bolt extending upstanding from the top surface of the frame. By adjusting the slot relative to thebolt the effective length of the bar can be varied to accommodate different window slopes of the various automobile designs for which such a mirror is contemplated. It also enables cooperation with the hinge of the lower support to effect adjusted optical alignment of the mirror surfaces with respect to the transmission path from the frame aperture toward the rear view mirror at the driver's station.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for validating a moving coin by detecting an oscillating signal generated in coils connected in a tuned oscillating circuit. A property of the signal which varies linearly with coin displacement in one direction for a first period and varies linearly in an opposite direction with coin displacement for a second period is measured. From measurements made during the first and second periods a signal characteristic of the coin, and substantially independent of the coin's velocity is derived. The coin is validated by comparing this signal with stored reference values.
