Abstract:
A forming oil-in-water emulsion in the form of a cream comprising, in an aqueous medium, at least: a) from 5 to 20% of an exclusively nonionic surfactant system comprising at least one foaming nonionic surfactant; b) from 10 to 50% of an oily phase containing at least one water-insoluble oil whose solubility parameters dD, dP and dH according to Hansen's solubility space satisfy the conditions: 15.5 (J/cm3)½≦dD≦18.0 (J/cm3)½ and 0 (J/cm3)½≦dA≦6.5 (J/cm3)½ with dA=(dP2+dH2)½ c) and, as a gelling agent, at least one crosslinked homopolymer or copolymer formed from at least one cationic or anionic monomer containing ethylenic unsaturation and from a crosslinking agent containing polyethylenic unsaturation. This composition is useful in cosmetics, dermatology and hygiene as a base for cleansing products for the skin, the hair, the mucous membranes and the scalp.
Abstract:
A composition comprising (1) a liquid fatty phase comprising at least one aromatic group-containing oil other than benzene or toluene, (2) a particulate phase, and (3) a thickening agent for the fatty phase, wherein the thickening agent includes at least one polysaccharide ether, and wherein the polysaccharide structure comprises at least two different monosaccharide units, and each unit comprises at least one hydroxyl group etherified by a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon chain, and cosmetic use of the composition on the skin and/or lips to limit migration of makeup and care products containing the compositions.
Abstract:
A cosmetic make-up product containing a first and a second composition, the first composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, dispersed polymer particles surface-stabilized with a stabilizer in a liquid organic phase and a coloring agent, and the second composition comprising a second physiologically acceptable medium.
Abstract:
The present application relates to an anhydrous cosmetic composition comprising at least one silicone-containing compound and a specific fatty acid ester. This composition may be used as a care product and/or a make-up product for the skin and/or for keratinous materials.
Abstract:
A cosmetic composition containing at least one block copolymer having a hard segment and a soft segment, at least one tackifier component, at least one solvent, or solvent mixture, optionally, at least one modified silicone, and optionally, at least one colorant, and wherein the at least one hard segment has a Tg value of about 50° C. or more, and the at least one soft segment has a Tg value of about 20° C. or less, and wherein the at least one solvent, or solvent mixture, is capable of solubilizing either the at least one hard segment or the at least one soft segment, or both the hard and the soft segments.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a non-compacted cosmetic composition for caring for and/or making up keratin fibres, comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least 22% by weight of water relative to the total weight of the composition and at least one fatty phase comprising at least one dispersion of micronized wax particles, the said particles being present in a content of between 5% and 50% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition.
Abstract:
Compositions comprising at least one ester which comprises at least one aromatic group, which is liquid at room temperature and which is derived from esterification with (i) at least one aromatic acid of (ii) at least one hydroxyl group of at least one hydroxylated aliphatic compound chosen from hydroxylated aliphatic acids and esters of hydroxylated aliphatic acids, wherein said at least one hydroxyl group is chosen from pendant hydroxyl groups and terminal hydroxyl groups. The inventive compositions may be used for, for example, making up the face, body or superficial body growths of human beings and may constitute, for example, a lipstick, a lip gloss, a tattooing product, an eye shadow, a mascara, a product for caring for the hair or a nail varnish.
Abstract:
A cosmetic care or makeup composition for keratin materials comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one photoprotective agent capable of screening out UV radiation and at least one ester comprising an aromatic group, which is liquid at room temperature, resulting from the esterification of an aromatic acid with at least one hydroxyl group chosen from pendent hydroxyl group and terminal hydroxyl groups of hydroxylated aliphatic compounds said hydroxylated aliphatic compounds being chosen from hydroxylated aliphatic acids and esters thereof. Use of the said ester comprising an aromatic group to improve the photoprotective power of compositions intended for protecting the skin and/or the lips and/or integuments against UV radiation.
Abstract:
This application concerns the use of the combination of a volatile oil and a phenylated silicone oil in a composition containing a fatty phase. The invention also relates to a composition containing, in a fatty phase, a volatile oil, a phenylated silicone oil, and less than 20% by weight of a non-volatile hydrocarbonic oil.
Abstract:
