摘要： A disk drive is disclosed that enables defect margining during disk drive burn-in testing. The disk drive comprises: a disk comprising a plurality of tracks; a head actuated over the disk; and a processor. The processor is configured to: perform disk drive burn-in testing to detect media defects; generate an initial defect list based upon detected media defects for sectors; generate an extended defect list that includes detected media defects and extended defect margins from the detected media defects; and utilize the extended defect list for burn-in, wherein a spare area of the disk allows for the detected media defects and the extended defect margins.

A data processing module located within the wireless module(s) and configured to process messages received by the wireless module, authenticate said message, analyze authenticated messages, and carry out asset management instructions included in the message.

A determination is made as to whether an event for a resource is present in a first event log in a first partition in response to reallocation of the resource from the first partition to a second partition. In response to the event being present, the event is placed in a second event log in the second partition. As a result, analysis of the second event log in the second partition takes into account the event from the first partition.

摘要： A view controller, such as a scroll bar, for a first application which is currently displayed within an inactive window is detached and remotely displayed within an active window in addition to the view controller associated with the content of that active window. A Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) link is then established between the remotely displayed view controller and the first application such that user inputs to the remotely displayed view controller can be utilized to modify the display of the first application without requiring the user to activate the inactive window. In this manner data within the first application can be scrolled and visually accessed by the user while the user is working within an active window, without requiring the user to toggle the focus back and forth between two windows.

摘要： A system for autonomously monitoring and managing consumer device assets includes a plurality of consumer device assets registered with a remote computer server platform. The remote computer server platform is configured to execute software applications for monitoring and managing the consumer device assets. The consumer device assets communicate operational status information and consumer usage information to the remote computer server platform automatically as a result of pre-programmed conditions and/or instructions received from the remote computer server platform. The remote computer server platform monitors the consumer device assets by processing the operational status information and consumer usage information automatically according to preprogrammed conditions. Based upon the results of processing at least some of the received consumer usage information, the remote computer server platform manages the consumer device assets by communicating management instructions that cause the stored data content files of one or more assets to be automatically modified.
