Abstract:
The including of an engaging recess with an article of human being wearing apparel, such as a cap, that has a specific exterior ornamental configuration. An elongated illuminatable light tube is to be snapped into an elongated groove formed on the wearing apparel and is to be snugly retained thereby. The light tube is to be flexible so as to accommodate to the specific shape of groove. The illuminatable tube includes a substance which is to be activatable which will cause the tube to glow for a period of time.
Abstract:
A quick start barbecue comprises a kettle, column and base. A moveable charcoal grate, when lowered into the column, folds into a basket shape thereby holding the charcoal in a compact configuration ideal for starting. Once the charcoal has ignited the grate is lifted into the kettle and in the process unfolds into a flat shape with the charcoal evenly distributed in a configuration ideal for cooking. The charcoal may be started using crumpled newspaper placed below the charcoal grate in its lower “basket” position or by use of a self igniting propane torch removably affixed to the column. A long chimney may be placed in the kettle to aid starting and stored around the column. A removable ash drawer in the base makes cleanup easy. Removal of the ash drawer causes a gate to close so that excess ash is confined to the column while the drawer is out.
Abstract:
A cooking apparatus is provided comprising a fire bowl having an internal chamber, a grill located within the internal chamber and at least one shelf pivotally mounted to the fire bowl. The shelf is movable between a stowage position within the fire bowl to a usage position located externally of the fire bowl.
Abstract:
A hand operated water gun which utilizes a base section which can be mounted on the upper arm of the user or carried by the user. The base section may include an elastic bladder and a pumping apparatus. The elastic bladder connects with a reservoir. The pumping apparatus is manually operated by a movable section which can comprise a handle. The movable section is pivotally mounted to the base section. Movement of the movable section causes water to flow from the reservoir into the elastic bladder causing the elastic bladder to expand. A discharge nozzle is connected to the elastic bladder with the discharge nozzle being normally closed preventing flow of water therethrough by a discharge valve. The discharge valve is to be manually openable to cause the dispensing of the water in the form of a stream. The water is to be supplied into the elastic bladder until it expands to a certain degree prior to opening of the discharge nozzle. A pressure relief valve is mounted in conjunction with the elastic bladder to help such from over expanding. Different configurations of fill valve may be used to fill the reservoir with water.
Abstract:
A beverage container for hot liquids which has a vessel with a completely enclosed, thermally insulated, internal chamber within which is to be placed a quantity of consumable hot liquid. A cap is removably mounted on the vessel which is to completely close the internal chamber and, by removing of the cap, permit an additional quantity of hot liquid to be supplied into the internal chamber. A dispensing passage, usually in the form of a tube, extends from the internal chamber to the cap with normally there being a valve mounted in conjunction with the dispensing passage with this valve being mounted within the cap. Air pressure is to be supplied into the internal chamber which is to cause a small portion of the hot liquid to be conducted through the passage, past the valve, and into a reservoir mounted in conjunction with the cap. The reservoir is open to the ambient permitting consuming of the hot liquid from the reservoir by a human. The pumping of the air into the internal chamber can be accomplished by a bellows assembly mounted in conjunction with the vessel or by a hand operated piston and cylinder arrangement.
Abstract:
The subject invention comprises a tote for cleaning utensils and supplies which has a base that includes an open internal compartment to be used to contain cleaning supplies and tools. A pair of sidewalls is attached to the base and extends upwardly therefrom in a spaced-apart relationship. Between the sidewalls is to be mounted on brackets a roll of paper towels. Mounted on the sidewalls is a hanger with this hanger to support a bag within which is to be deposited waste. Connected between the upper end of the sidewalls is a carry handle.
Abstract:
A collapsible container in the form of a thin sheet material body which is capable of being collapsed by being folded upon itself. When unfolded the body assumes a cone shaped or pyramid shaped chamber. Incorporated within the body is a center section which can be deflected into a cone shape or pyramid shape which is oppositely oriented to the cone shape or pyramid shape of the chamber. The deflected center section will function to retain the container in its expanded position thereby permitting the chamber to be used for small foodstuff particles such as pretzels, potato chips, popcorn and the like. There is a further embodiment which does not require deflection but is constructed of multiple parts that are assembled in a similar cone shape or pyramid shape configuration to form two separate chambers.
