Abstract:
A message display system comprises a bumper sticker kit including blank bumper stickers and sets of alpha/numeric display members. Each blank bumper sticker comprises a front display surface having registration indicia formed thereon and a back surface comprising an adhesive layer which is normally covered by a backing sheet. Each set of alpha/numeric display indicia includes a plurality of letters, numerals, etc. each comprising a front display surface of contrasting color relative to the front display surfaces of the blank bumper stickers and a back surface comprising an adhesive layer which is normally covered by a backing sheet. In the use of the invention, a message is formed on the front display surface of each blank bumper sticker by removing selected alpha/numeric display members from one of the sets and applying the display members to the front display surface of the blank bumper sticker in accordance with the registration indicia thereon. Thereafter the backing sheet is removed from the blank bumper sticker, whereupon the bumper sticker and the message formed thereon are adhesively displayed from a suitable surface, such as an automobile bumper, or the like.
Abstract:
A retainer resists decoupling of a first connector of a first cord from a second connector of a second cord. The retainer includes a first receiver having an adjuster to adjust the receiver about a portion of the first cord. The retainer includes a second receiver having an adjuster to adjust the receiver about a portion of the second cord. A connector housing couples the first and second receiver. The first receiver, second receiver, and connector housing form a continuous chamber in which lies portion of the first and second cords connected together when the retainer resides in an installed orientation. The retainer, in the installed orientation, resists incursion of water, dust particulate matter and other debris into the continuous chamber.

Abstract:
A steering control method including the steps of obtaining a heading error, obtaining a velocity value, obtaining a distance error, applying the heading error and defuzzifying an output from a steering rule base. The velocity value and the distance error are applied along with the heading error to fuzzy logic membership functions to produce an output that is applied to a steering rule base. An output from the steering rule base is defuzzified to produce a steering signal.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method of normalizing characterization information comprising: defining a plurality of characteristics, for each characteristic defining a set of allowed values and defining a logging interval. The method further comprises: at a plurality of logging intervals, selecting a value from the set of allowed values for a characteristic of the plurality of characteristics, and storing the selected value for the characteristics at the plurality of logging intervals. The present disclosure also provides a system for correlating log information comprising: a core set log data module for storing core set log data information, an electrical log data module for storing electrical log data information, a correlation module for correlating the core set log data information with the electrical log data information, and an input/output module for inputting and displaying the core set log data information the electrical log data information.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for determining the service quality performance of a real-time application, for example VoIP, video over IP or IPTV, operating over a path defined in a packet-based network. The present invention performs active probing of a path of the packet-based network by transmitting one or more sequences of packets along the path.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method an apparatus for adaptively refining the sampling within an IP network performance monitoring and diagnosis framework. This ability to adaptively adjust the resolution of the sampling can enable variable accuracy and detail in the related IP network analysis. The sampling resolution can be defined as, for example, the load on the network in terms of the rate of packet transmission, the statistical variance thereof and the complexity of the sampling procedure. Each sampling and analysis procedure determines one or more network parameters referred to as critical indicators. Decisions for subsequent samplings and actions are made based on the determination of these critical indicators. As such various evaluation activity levels are defined by conditions that can be checked for and detected within the context of that activity level. A feedback/feedforward process can be used to enhance the resolution of subsequent samplings, for example movement to a more detailed activity level, if the need is required. In addition, the present invention can support activities such as automated remediation wherein problems in a given IP network path that are identified during the sampling and diagnostic evaluation thereof are subsequently resolved by making changes in the path. The present invention can automate and enhance the monitoring, diagnosis and remediation processes, thereby reducing human involvement until human intervention may be required. In addition, the automatic functionality inherent within the present invention can enable the sampling to be scalable and responsive to changes in IP network conditions as they arise.
Abstract:
A soft dairy spread processed by fractionating milk fat into a number of fractions, each fraction having a suitable melting range and re-combining selected fractions in a product having limited change in solid fat content to give a satisfactory spreading characteristic. A butter is made by taking the product and adding solids not fat, water and salt. The combined fractions do not include the triglycerides which melt over 0.degree. C to 20.degree. C.
