Abstract:
An acoustic energy source for imparting acoustic energy into the Earth's subsurface includes an electrically driven transducer coupled to a source of swept frequency alternating current. A tunable Helmholtz resonator is disposed proximate the transducer. In one example, the resonator has a tuning device configured to maintain a resonant frequency substantially equal to an instantaneous frequency of the alternating current. The tuning device includes an actuator coupled to a sleeve, wherein the sleeve is disposed over selected numbers of openings in a wall of a tube on the resonator. The transducer and the resonator are disposed in a wellbore drilled through rock formations. The wellbore has a plurality of layers of fluid therein, each layer thereof having a different density and/or viscosity.

Methods, systems and program products for providing a first visual region, the first visual region configured to present content determined by a document. A distinct second visual region is provided, the second visual region not defined by the document and configured to present content that is not contained in the document. One or more attributes are identified in the electronic document. Based on the one or more attributes, the presentation of ad content in the second visual region is enabled or disabled. The electronic document is presented in the first visual region.
Abstract:
Computing environments, each executing at least one software program, are monitored for failures occurring during execution of the software program. Information associated with the failure, such as an identification of the software program and a failure type describing the failure, is recorded. The failure information is quantified to report the number of times the software program has failed or the number of times a particular failure has occurred. The quantified data may provide help in prioritizing what program or what failures merit investigation and resolution. Reports may be received from failing computing systems stopped at a state following the occurrence of the failure. In response, hold information is checked to determine whether to instruct the failing computing system to hold a state existing upon the occurrence of the failure.

A tire having a section height, a maximum section width, an upper section above the maximum section width, and a lower section below the maximum section width is provided. The tire includes a circumferential tread, a pair of sidewalls, a pair of bead regions each having a bead core, and at least one carcass ply extending circumferentially about the tire from one bead region to the other. The at least one carcass ply is wound outwardly about at least one of the bead cores and extends toward the tread to form a turn-up portion that terminates at a turn-up end. The turn-up portion includes a concave segment that begins in the bead region and ends short of the turn-up end or at the turn-up end.

The embedded content is provided to a first rendering engine in accordance with the embedded content file type. Rendered embedded content is received from the first rendering engine. The rendered embedded content is blended with a rendering of a page of the electronic document.
Abstract:
A pneumatic tire may include a floating reinforcing layer disposed between a body ply and the sidewall of the tire. The reinforcing layer may extend from a point beneath the rim flange of the wheel to a point just above or below the maximum section width of the tire. By adding stiffness to the sidewall region at and above the rim, the reinforcing layer enhances the durability of the tire without sacrificing ride comfort.

The present invention features a cleaning implement, such as a mop, that may be used for cleaning a floor. The mop of the invention typically includes a mop head and a handle pivotally connected to the mop head. The mop head also includes means for securing a mop media, typically a flexible disposable cleaning sheet, to the mop head. The mop may be passed over the floor with one side of the cleaning sheet presented for cleaning the floor. The mop head may then be inverted with the other side of the cleaning sheet presented for further cleaning of the floor.
Abstract:
A cap to close off an externally threaded aperture of a container is provided. The cap includes a base wall and a peripheral skirt carrying an internal thread for mating with the aperture's external thread. A hollow spigot portion extends from the base wall within the cap, and is co-axial with the skirt and attached to the base wall by a frangible connection. Grooves or thread are formed on the outside wall of the spigot portion to engage the wall of the bore in the aperture. A method of sealing a container including engaging a cap is also provided.
