    摘要: A run-flat tire includes side reinforcing rubber between a carcass layer and an innerliner layer in sidewall portions, first bead filler rubber arranged inside folded back portions of the carcass layer, and second bead filler rubber arranged outward of the folded back portions of the carcass layer in a lateral direction and along the carcass layer. In a meridian cross-section, a radial-direction height of the first bead filler rubber is 15% or greater and 40% or less of a cross-sectional height, a radial-direction height of the second bead filler rubber is 35% or greater and 55% or less of the cross-sectional height, a linear distance from a radial-direction outer end to a radial-direction inner end of the second bead filler rubber is 20% or greater and 45% or less of the cross-sectional height, and the second bead filler rubber has a larger cross-sectional area than the first bead filler rubber.

    摘要: A pneumatic tire is described having a triangular shaped apex which extends radially outward of the bead core, and wherein the apex is formed of at least two zones. Each zone is formed of a different material, wherein the first zone extends from the base of the apex to the tip of the apex, and the second zone is located adjacent the ply. The zones are preferably formed by extrusion to form one cohesive apex. The first zone is formed of a material having a G″/G′ ratio in the range of about 0.155 to about 0.183. The second zone is formed of a material having a G″/G′ ratio in the range of about 0.125 to about 0.133.

    摘要: A pneumatic tire has a nonconductive tread rubber constructing an outer surface of a tread portion, a nonconductive side wall rubber constructing an outer surface of a side wall portion, and a rim strip rubber constructing an outer surface of a bead portion. The pneumatic tire has a conductive sheet formed by a conductive rubber. The conductive sheet reaches the rim strip rubber from the tread rubber while passing between a carcass and the side wall rubber, and terminates without being exposed to the outer surface of the bead portion. The rim strip rubber is partitioned into a nonconductive rubber portion and a conductive rubber portion, and the conductive rubber portion is connected to the conductive sheet and is exposed to a bead bottom surface.

The section width SW may further be located within a range of 0.1″ to 0.3″ inches from a radially outward end of the chipper layer in a radial direction. The tread may of a dual layer construction, having a radially inward first layer formed of a relatively low rolling resistance compound and a radially outward second layer formed of a compound containing silica.
