Abstract: An automated kiosk includes a storage structure housed by an enclosure, with the storage structure holding trays with items, grabbing unit for picking up trays, dispensing unit for delivering an item, a conveyer mechanism to position the grabbing unit and the dispensing unit and control system. The tray holding an item is associated with the grabbing unit and the dispensing unit and delivers an item to a customer. The tray holding an item can be returned, stocked and restocked by the automated kiosk.
