摘要： An image processing device including an image processing section and a memory managing section. The image processing section having: (A) one or more image processing modules, each having: an image processing engine and a control section; and (B) one or more buffer modules. The memory managing section (a) can execute, by a plurality of types of managing methods, memory managing processing in which, in accordance with requests from individual modules, the memory managing section reserves memories which are to be allotted to the individual modules from a memory provided at the image processing device, and allots the reserved memories to the individual modules, and, at a time of deleting the individual modules, releases the memories allotted to the individual modules, and (b) carries out the memory managing processing by a managing method which is instructed from the exterior among the plurality of types of managing methods.

摘要： An image capturing apparatus includes: an image capturing section for capturing an image; a person determining section for determining whether the image captured by the image capturing section includes any person; an input notification section for notifying a user that the person included in the image captured by the image capturing section should be inputted when the image determining section determines that the image includes the person; a personal identification information input section for causing the user to input personal identification information indicative of the person included in the image captured by the image capturing section by a predetermined timing after the input notification section notifies the user that the person included in the image captured by the image capturing section should be inputted; and an image storage section for storing the personal identification information inputted by the personal identification information input section in association with the image captured by the image capturing section when the personal identification information input section inputs the personal identification information.

摘要： There is provided an album generating apparatus for generating an album in which a desirable combination of images is disposed in one and same page. The album generating apparatus has an image storing section for storing a plurality of images, an object sampling section for sampling objects contained in each image stored in the image storing section, a relationship judging section for judging that a relationship of the first object with the second object is high when a number of images containing the first and second objects sampled by the object sampling section is larger than a reference number set in advance in the images stored in the image storing section, a main image selecting section for selecting a main image that is to be a primary object in the album out of the plurality of images stored in the image storing section, a subsidiary image selecting section for selecting the image containing the second object that has been judged by the relationship judging section to be highly related with the first object contained in the main image selected as a subsidiary and a layout determining section for laying out the main image and the subsidiary image in the album based on contents of the main image and the subsidiary image.
