摘要： A method for executing a user command based on spatial movement of a user input device and an image apparatus having the same are provided. According to the method for executing a user command, a user command which is determined based on the spatial movement of the user input device is executed. Accordingly, a method for inputting a user command becomes more diverse and convenient to use, and a more compact user input device may be provided.

摘要： A broadcast receiving apparatus wherein a user is able to control a graphical user interface (GUI) using a pointing device, and a control method thereof are provided. The broadcast receiving apparatus receives a movement pattern from a pointing device, and operates a function corresponding to the pattern. The broadcast receiving conveniently switches a pointing device between a position mode and a step mode, without having a key for switching between the position mode and the step mode or direction keys.

摘要： Disclosed is an electronic device including a plurality of connection terminals and a control method thereof. The electronic device including a plurality of connection terminals, including: a light-emitting unit disposed adjacent to the plurality of connection terminals; a sensing unit sensing whether an external connection terminal is within a predetermined sensing range with respect to the connection terminal; and a control unit controlling the light-emitting unit to emit light when it is determined that the predetermined external connection terminal is within the predetermined sensing range according to the sensed result of the sensing unit. With this configuration, the connection convenience is provided by guiding an external connection terminal to the corresponding connection terminal of the electronic device under a low luminance condition, and a control method thereof.
