摘要: Systems and processes for intelligent device identification are provided. In one example process, audio input may be sampled with a microphone at each of two or more of the plurality of electronic devices. A first electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices for determining a task associated with sampled audio input may be identified. The process may determine the task based on the sampled audio input with the first electronic device and identify identifying a second electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices for performing the task. The task be performed with the second electronic device. The second electronic device is not the first electronic device in some examples.

The speech recognition engine uses the voice data indicative of at least a brand of the target appliance to identify within a library of codesets at least one codeset that is cross-referenced to the brand of the target appliance. The at least one codeset so identified is then caused to be provisioned to the controlling device for use in commanding functional operations of the target appliance.

摘要: A method is implemented to move media content display between two media output devices. A server system determines in a voice message recorded by an electronic device a media transfer request that includes a user voice command to transfer media content to a destination media output device and a user voice designation of the destination media output device. The server system then obtains from a source cast device instant media play information including information of a media play application, the media content that is being played, and a temporal position. The server system further identifies a destination cast device associated in a user domain coupled to the destination media output device, and sends to the destination cast device a media play request including the instant media play information, thereby enabling the destination cast device to execute the media play application for playing the media content from the temporal location.

摘要: An electronic device including: one or more processors to control operations thereof, to simultaneously process multiple wireless signals received from a plurality of multimedia devices transmitting streaming media content and to transmit the processed wireless signals to another one of the plurality of multimedia devices; a storage device to store received broadcast media content; and a network controller to wirelessly receive streaming broadcast media content from a plurality of broadcast media sources, to provide a wired and a wireless connectivity to the plurality of multimedia devices, to exchange media processing capabilities between the electronic device and the plurality of multimedia devices after establishing network connections therebetween, to receive a wireless signal including streaming media content from at least one of the plurality of multimedia devices, and to stream a processed version of the received wireless signal including streaming media content to another one of the plurality of multimedia devices, the processed version of the received wireless signal including streaming media content being processed based on the received media processing capabilities of the multimedia device receiving the transmitted wireless signal including streaming media content.

摘要: Systems and methods for training network-connected objects to provide configurations in association with events within media assets. A respective configuration setting of a network-connected object and a baseline biometric state of a user may be stored in a database for each event within a media asset. An event within a media asset (for display) may be detected. In response, a command may be sent to the network-connected object to implement the respective configuration setting. A determination may be made whether the user adjusts the respective configuration setting to a new configuration setting within a predefined time of the event. A biometric state of the user may be retrieved from a biometric device in response to the adjustment to a new configuration setting. If the biometric state does not correspond to the baseline biometric state, the respective configuration setting may be replaced with the new configuration setting.

摘要: A method for interacting with a graphical user interface (GUI) of a television operating in a step mode in which movement of a cursor among menu items displayed on the GUI is performed stepwise in accordance with a manipulation of a direction key of the remote controller, the method including receiving, by the television, from a remote controller a signal corresponding to spatial movement of the remote controller detected by the remote controller that instructs the television to switch from (i) the step mode to (ii) a position mode of the GUI in which the movement of the cursor among the menu items is performed in accordance with the spatial movement of the remote controller and switching from the step mode of the GUI to the position mode of the GUI based on the signal.

摘要: A terminal apparatus having a function of remotely controlling a video display apparatus includes a communication unit that transmits a command related to setting of the video display apparatus and receives status information, a signal receiving unit that receives a signal output from a broadcast station and decodes a video content, a memory unit that stores a content of a command including a channel of the video content, and a display unit that displays the video content and various types of information. In this terminal apparatus, the communication unit transmits an identification code specific to the terminal apparatus when transmitting the command, and when the status information is received after a channel of the video display apparatus is set by remote control, the video content of the channel stored in the memory unit is decoded by the signal receiving unit and is displayed on the display unit.
