    Abstract: A premises security system for providing audio simulating occupancy of a premises. The system includes a video doorbell having a presence sensor and a security hub component communicatively coupled with the video doorbell. The security hub component includes a microphone for capturing sound within the premises, at least one speaker positioned within the premises, an audio driver for driving the speaker, a storage device, and a processor coupled to the microphone, the storage device, and the audio driver. The processor executes machine-readable instructions that control the processor to: capture, using the microphone, audio content of sounds within the premises; store the audio content in the storage device; and control the audio driver to play the audio content through the speaker in response to receiving an indication of the presence of a visitor from the video doorbell.

    Abstract: An audio/video (A/V) device may include or accommodate a viewer through a barrier. For example, an A/V device may include a first component for installation on an exterior surface of a door, a second component for installation on an interior surface of the door, a viewer that extends through an opening in the door, and a flexible connector that electrically couples the first component and the second component. The A/V device may enable use of an existing hole in the door as part of a door viewer, while also providing the functionality of an A/V device. For example, the A/V device may be configured to receive an input using a button on the first component, generate image data using a camera on the first component, and send the image data to a network device.

In one embodiment, a method for a client device associated with a first security system of a security network is provided, the security network including the first security system installed at a first address and a second security system installed at a second address, the client device including a processor, a communication module, and a display, the method comprising: in response to a security event detected by the second security system at the second address, receiving a user alert; in response to receiving the user alert, displaying the user alert; receiving an input including an arming action for the first security system; and in response to receiving the input, transmitting the arming action to the first security system.

    Abstract: Input functionality for audio/video (A/V) recording and communication doorbells in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, an A/V recording and communication doorbell is provided, comprising: a button, a camera, a microphone, a communication module, one or more processors, and a non-transitory machine-readable memory storing a program, the program executable by at least one of the processors, the program comprising sets of instructions for: receiving, by the button, an input and generating, in response to the input, input data; determining, based on the input data, whether the input is received for a threshold period of time; upon determining that the input is received for the threshold period of time, establishing, a connection to a security monitoring service; and in response to establishing the connection, initiating a two-way audio communication between the security monitoring service and the A/V recording and communication doorbell.

    Abstract: A method includes receiving video data from an A/V recording and communication device (A/V device) having a camera, the video data representing an object in a field of view (FOV) of the camera. The method further includes receiving, from the A/V device, identifying information for a wireless device proximate the object in the FOV of the camera (the FOV identifying information). The method further includes, after receiving the FOV identifying information, storing the video data and the FOV identifying information in a memory. The method further includes receiving identifying information for one or more wireless devices associated with activity of interest (the identifying information of interest). The method further includes determining that the FOV identifying information matches the identifying information of interest. The method further includes, after determining that the FOV identifying information matches the identifying information of interest, creating a record associating the video data with activity of interest.
