Abstract: An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) comprises one or more baseband processors to process a bandwidth part (BWP) switching request from a serving cell at slot n, and to perform an active BWP switch to a new BWP on the serving cell at a time no later than slot n+Y, wherein Y is a BWP switching delay. The one or more baseband processors are to accommodate a timing advance (TA) value to determine when to perform the active BWP switch. The apparatus can include a memory to store the BWP switching request.

Various embodiments describe how to detect a cell ID and a beam ID in millimeter wave (mmWave) operation. Abstract: An approach is described for a user equipment (UE), wherein the UE includes radio front end circuitry and processor circuitry coupled to the radio front end circuitry. The processor circuitry receives a reference signal from a source device via a radio link, wherein the reference signal is one of the synchronization signal block (SSB) signal or channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS). The processor circuitry measures a quality of the reference signal, and measures an evaluation time of the reference signal. The processor circuitry determines a first indicator of the radio link based on the quality of the reference signal, and determine a second indicator of the radio link based on the evaluation time of the reference signal. The processor circuitry then determines a status of a connection of the radio link based on the first indicator and the second indicator of the radio link, and generate a message based the status of the connection. The radio front end circuitry then transmits the message to the source device.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer-readable media for evaluating the accuracy of user equipment (UE) reference signal receive power (RSRP) measurements is disclosed. This includes determining both a total reference signal receive power (RSRP) accuracy and a RSRP baseband accuracy associated with the UE. This also includes executing a plurality of comparisons between the total RSRP accuracy, the RSRP baseband accuracy, and a plurality of accuracy thresholds, and then determining the UE passes a measurement accuracy test based on the plurality of comparisons.
