Abstract:
System and method of moving selected content is disclosed. In response to detecting a first portion of an input that activates a move operation for selected first content, a copy of at least a portion of the first content is displayed in a container object, and the container object is moved from a first placement location to a second placement location relative to a characteristic location of the contact(s) on the touch-screen display. After the movement from the first placement location to the second placement location relative to the characteristic location of the one or more contacts, the container object moves in accordance with movement of the one or more contacts while the container object is maintained at the second placement location relative to the characteristic location of the one or more contacts as the one or more contacts move across the touch-screen display.
Abstract:
An example method is performed at a device with a touch-sensitive surface and a display. The method includes: displaying a position indicator within displayed text while an input object meets hover criteria. The method also includes: detecting a first movement of the input object that includes a component of movement parallel to the touch-sensitive surface. In response to detecting the first movement, the method includes: moving the position indicator in accordance with the first movement. After moving the position indicator, the method includes: detecting a second movement of the input object. And, the method includes in response to detecting the second movement and in accordance with a determination that the second movement of the input object is detected while the input object is in contact with the touch-sensitive surface, selecting text in accordance with the second movement of the input object.
Abstract:
A method includes: displaying a user interface including an instant messaging conversation between a first person and a second person, the instant messaging conversation displaying content balloons with instant messages exchanged between the first and second person. The method also includes: in accordance with a determination that the second person is typing the instant message, displaying a typed-message-preparation indicator in the user interface of a communication application. The method further includes: in accordance with a determination that the second person is drawing the instant message, displaying a drawn-message-preparation indicator in the user interface of the communication application. In response to receiving the instant message prepared by the second person that corresponds to the displayed message preparation indicator, the method includes: ceasing to display the typed-message-preparation indicator or the drawn-message-preparation indicator, and displaying a content balloon that contains the instant message prepared by the second person in the instant messaging conversation.
Abstract:
A computer system displays a representation of a field of view of one or more cameras that is updated with changes in the field of view. In response to a request to add an annotation, the representation of the field of view of the camera(s) is replaced with a still image of the field of view of the camera(s). An annotation is received on a portion of the still image that corresponds to a portion of a physical environment captured in the still image. The still image is replaced with the representation of the field of view of the camera(s). An indication of a current spatial relationship of the camera(s) relative to the portion of the physical environment is displayed or not displayed based on a determination of whether the portion of the physical environment captured in the still image is currently within the field of view of the camera(s).

Abstract:
An electronic device with a touch-sensitive display and one or more sensors to detect signals from a stylus associated with the device: displays a user interface on the touch-sensitive display; while displaying the user interface on the touch-sensitive display, detects the stylus moving towards the touch-sensitive display, without the stylus making contact with the touch-sensitive display; determines whether the detected stylus movement towards the touch-sensitive display satisfies one or more stylus movement criteria; in accordance with a determination that the detected stylus movement satisfies the one or more stylus movement criteria, displays a menu overlaid on the user interface, the menu including a plurality of selectable menu options; detects selection of a first menu option in the plurality of selectable menu options; and, in response to detecting selection of the first menu option: performs an operation that corresponds to the first menu option, and ceases to display the menu.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a touch-sensitive display and one or more sensors to detect signals from a stylus associated with the device: while the electronic device is in a locked state: displays a lock screen user interface on the touch-sensitive display; while displaying the lock screen user interface, detects a first input from the stylus to draw on the touch-sensitive display; in response to detecting the first input, displays, over the lock screen user interface, one or more marks of a drawing that correspond to the first input; while displaying, on the lock screen user interface, the one or more marks of the drawing: detects a second input from the stylus to display a drawing application in a restricted mode; and, in response to detecting the second input, executes the drawing application in the restricted mode and displays the one or more marks of the drawing in the drawing application.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a touch-sensitive display displays an electronic calendar and detects a hand-drawn input on the touch-sensitive display. The hand-drawn input extends over a vertical portion, less than all, of an area corresponding to a first day in the calendar. In response to detecting the hand-drawn input, the device displays, over the vertical portion of the first day, one or more graphics that correspond to the hand-drawn input. While displaying the graphics, the device detects an input that corresponds to a request to create an event in the electronic calendar. In response, the device creates, in the first day in the electronic calendar, an event with a start time and an end time, wherein the start time and the end time of the event are in accordance with the first day that the hand drawn input extends over.
Abstract:
A computer system with a display generation component and one or more input devices displays a representation of a physical object that has a first respective object property and a virtual object that does not spatially overlap with the physical object. The system moves the virtual object based on movement of an input. If the movement of the input corresponds to a request to move the virtual object to a physical space that is not occupied by a physical object, the system moves the virtual object by a first amount. If the movement of the first input corresponds to a request to move the virtual object to a physical space that at least partially overlaps with the first physical object, the system moves the virtual object by a second amount, less than the first amount.
Abstract:
A computer system while displaying an augmented reality environment, concurrently displays: a representation of at least a portion of a field of view of one or more cameras that includes a physical object, and a virtual user interface object at a location in the representation of the field of view, where the location is determined based on the respective physical object in the field of view. While displaying the augmented reality environment, in response to detecting an input that changes a virtual environment setting for the augmented reality environment, the computer system adjusts an appearance of the virtual user interface object in accordance with the change made to the virtual environment setting and applies to at least a portion of the representation of the field of view a filter selected based on the change made to the virtual environment setting.
