    Abstract: A head-mountable device can include a light seal element with adjustable opacity. In various configurations of the light seal element, the opacity there through can be adjusted to control an amount of light and/or airflow from an external environment. For example a cover or combination of overlapping covers can be adjusted to selectively exclude light from an external environment or provide a direct view to the external environment. Transitions can be achieved while the head-mountable device is worn by a user.

    Abstract: A head-mountable device can include modules that provide fit adjustment capabilities when assembled together. By providing a head-mountable device with modular features, certain modules can provide fit adjustment capabilities without requiring other modules to be custom designed or available in a wide variety of sizes and/or shapes. The head-mountable device and/or other electronic devices can be operated to guide a user to select the optimal light seal module for use with an HMD module. For example, the head-mountable device or another device can include sensors for detecting features of the user's face, forces distributed on the face when worn, and/or entry of light from an external environment.

    Abstract: A finger-mounted electronic device may include a body that serves as a support structure for components such as force sensors, accelerometers, and other sensors and for haptic output devices. The body may have first and second side body members that leave the finger pad exposed and an upper body member extending between the first and second side body members. Some or all of the body may be covered in fabric or leather. Fabric may wrap around the first and second side body members and may extend across the upper body member. The fabric may cover electronic components. A touch sensor may have electrodes that are formed from conductive material on the fabric or conductive strands in the fabric. Infrared-reflective ink may form visual markers on the fabric for an infrared tracking system. The fabric may have light-transmissive portions that overlap optical components.
