Abstract: The present application relates to an improved method of operating a user equipment (UE), comprising: receiving, at the UE, a configuration of at least a first Channel Measurement Resource (CMR) set and a second CMR set for group-based beam reporting (GBBR) and performing, at the UE with at least a first antenna panel (and possibly multiple antenna panels), a first plurality of intracell, multiple TRP, Layer 1 Reference Signal Received Power (L1-RSRP) measurements. The first CMR set and second CMR set each comprises a plurality of resources (e.g., Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) resources and/or Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) resources), and performing the first plurality of L1-RSRP measurements comprises performing a measurement using a number of fine beams (formed by one or more antenna panels) for one or more of the plurality of resources (up to and including each of the resources) in the first and second CMR sets.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for configuring HARQ feedback for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communication. In one example, a method includes identifying a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource in a first slot for communicating a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook. The method includes determining a set of SPS PDSCH receptions for which feedback is multiplexed in the HARQ codebook based on SPS PDSCH configurations for each component carrier and each slot, a UE capability for number of SPS PDSCH receptions per slot, and a prioritization protocol. The method includes selecting a codebook type based on whether a PDSCH is scheduled by way of a dynamic grant for any of the plurality of slots, constructing the HARQ codebook based on the set of SPS PDSCH receptions and the selected codebook type, and transmitting the HARQ codebook to a next generation node.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for time division multiplexing sounding reference signal ports in a wireless communication system. A wireless device and a cellular base station may establish a wireless link. The wireless device may be configured to perform a sounding reference signal transmission with time division multiplexing sounding reference signal ports. A maximum transmit power for the wireless device for the sounding reference signal transmission may be determined based at least in part on the time division multiplexing sounding reference signal ports. A transmit power may be selected for the sounding reference signal transmission based at least in part on the maximum transmit power for the wireless device for the sounding reference signal transmission. The sounding reference signal transmission may be performed using the selected transmit power.

Abstract: A method for performing a contention-free random access (CFRA) in a lower-layer triggered mobility (LTM) procedure from a serving cell to a target candidate cell is provided. The method includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), that random access response (RAR) reception is not configured for the UE. The method includes receiving, by the UE, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order for transmitting a physical random access channel (PRACH) signal to the target candidate cell. The method includes determining, by the UE and based on the PDCCH order, a transmission power for transmitting the PRACH signal.

Abstract: Techniques, described herein, include solutions for managing hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes and communications for non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) (e.g., a wireless communication network that includes a satellite network component). A user equipment (UE) may connect to an NTN and determine hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) capabilities regarding NTNs. The UE may also communicate a HARQ disablement message to the NTN and communicate with NTN without HARQ procedures. The HARQ disablement message may provide the HARQ disablement capabilities of the UE and/or be a request for the network to disable HARQ. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may monitor a downlink frequency position to detect a synchronization block (SSB) from a cellular base station. When monitoring the downlink frequency position, the UE may be configured to use at least one step size in calculating a SSB frequency position. The UE may determine a subcarrier spacing (SCS) used by the cellular base station in response to monitoring the downlink frequency position, and the subcarrier spacing for one or more SSB transmissions may be determined at least in part based on the step size used in calculating the SSB frequency position. The UE may then utilize the determined subcarrier spacing of the one or more SSB transmissions in communicating with the cellular base station.
