Abstract: One general aspect includes a system for ablation including a catheter including a sheath defining a sheath lumen and a distal end, and an elongate electrode assembly axially moveable within the sheath lumen. The electrode assembly includes a shaft defining a central channel and a distal central channel opening. The electrode assembly also includes an expandable electrode array including two or more electrode elements positioned at the distal portion of the electrode assembly, where the electrode array is moveable between a retracted position contained within the sheath lumen and an expanded position protruding from the sheath.

Abstract: Medical devices and methods for drying medical devices are disclosed. An example method for drying a medical device may include disposing a medical device within a drying apparatus. The drying apparatus may include a variable frequency microwave heating device. The medical device may include a substrate, the substrate including an active pharmaceutical ingredient and a solvent. The method may also include heating the medical device with the drying apparatus. Heating may evaporate at least a portion of the solvent.

Abstract: In some aspects, the disclosure pertains to injectable particles that contain at least one pH-altering agent that is configured to be released from the injectable particles in vivo, upon embolization of an intratumoral artery of a tumor with the injectable particles. In certain instances, the pH-altering agent may be a basic agent having a pH value of 7.5, a buffering agent having a pKa value of 7.6 or more, or both. Other aspects of the disclosure pertain to preloaded containers containing such injectable particles and methods of using such injectable particles.
