Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to obtain feature values related to the shape and a property of the heart. The processing circuitry is configured to estimate, by using the feature values, a state of the heart after a chest is opened. The processing circuitry is configured to estimate, based on a result of the estimation of the state of the heart, a state of the heart after the chest is closed after a treatment is completed. The processing circuitry is configured to output a parameter related to the estimated state of the heart after the chest is closed to a display.

Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry sets a first region of interest in a region corresponding to cardiac muscle on a cross-section of a heart included in image data. The processing circuitry further sets a second region of interest that is larger than the first region of interest in a region including the region. The processing circuitry determines a threshold for determining a range of signal values used for blood flow dynamic analysis on the image data based on a frequency distribution of signal values in the first region of interest. The processing circuitry carries out blood flow dynamic analysis on the second region of interest using signal values included in a range based on the threshold.

Abstract: A marker-coordinate detecting unit detects coordinates of a stent marker on a new image when the new image is stored in an image-data storage unit; and then a correction-image creating unit creates a correction image from the new image through, for example, image transformation processing, so as to match up the detected coordinates with reference coordinates that are coordinates of the stent marker already detected by the marker-coordinate detecting unit in a first frame. An image post-processing unit then creates an image for display by performing post-processing on the correction image created by the correction-image creating unit, the post-processing including high-frequency noise reduction filtering-processing, low-frequency component removal filtering-processing, and logarithmic-image creating processing; and then a system control unit performs control of displaying a moving image of an enlarged image of a set region that is set in the image for display, together with an original image.

Abstract: A medical-image processing apparatus and a medical-image diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment include an acquisition unit, a generation unit, an identification unit, and a display control unit. The acquisition unit acquires a medical image containing a blood vessel collected by the medical-image diagnostic apparatus. The generation unit generates an anatomical structure model based on the medical image acquired by the acquisition unit. The identification unit identifies a position, on the medical image, of an index relating to blood flow analyzed through fluid analysis using the anatomical structure model. The display control unit displays the position of the index on the medical image, and also displays the index associated with the position of the index on the medical image.
