    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for detecting a RAID device. The RAID device includes a disk set for storing a special data and the disk set is composed of a plurality of member disks. The method comprises the following steps. The first step is to read data stored in the RAID device to determine whether or not a data read from the disk set is equal to the special data. the second step is to set one of said member disks as a failure disk to determine whether or not the failure disk affects the disk set operation. The third step is to replace the failure disk with a non-member disk and rebuilding data of the failure disk in the non-member disk to determine whether or not the rebuilt data is equal to data of the failure disk.

    摘要: The present invention is to provide a system for backing up cache memory in a double backup server structure, which comprises a first backup server having a first SAS controller; a second backup server having a second SAS controller; and a SAS channel for connecting said first and second SAS controllers; wherein said first SAS controller and said second SAS controller each having a sending end initiator defining a cache mirror command. When said first backup server received a write command and write data through a Fiber Channel or iSCSI channel into a first cache memory, said first SAS controller also establishes a first Command Descriptor Block (CDB) with an operation code of a cache mirror command as well as a first data header for the cache data. Said first CDB and first data header are subsequently transmitted through said SAS channel to said second SAS controller and said second backup server writes said data into a second cache memory of its own. Accordingly, with the higher bandwidth facilitated by the SAS channel, considerable amount of cache data can be processes in high speed to improve the storage efficiency in a double backup server structure.

    摘要: A system and a method for accessing and verifying the validity of data content stored in the cache memory on disk are proposed, which is applied in a data accessing system through the use of a master disk controller or a slave disk controller. For data accessing purposes, the master and the slave disk controllers each have a storage space in the cache memory on disk, to temporarily store and access related data. The method for accessing and verifying the validity of data content stored in the cache memory on disk includes: creating a recording area for recording access records on the disk accessed by the disk controller; reading the access record in the recording area, and determining whether the access record shows that the disk was accessed by the master controller upon power-on; wherein, if the record shows that the disk was accessed by the master disk controller, making the master disk controller access the disk with the content stored in the storage space in the cache memory of master disk controller, and, in contrast, if the record shows that the disk was accessed by the slave disk controller, after power-on, making the master disk controller treat the content stored in the storage space in the cache memory of master disk controller as invalid.

    摘要: A method for producing an alignment layer for a liquid crystal panel, which is produced by modifying an alignment film in a fixed direction and at a fixed angle by using an atmospheric pressure plasma source to form a uniform and isotropic alignment layer on the surface of the substrate. The resultant alignment layer has good uniformity and high anchoring energy, and the pre-tilt angle can be selected as desired. In addition, there are no problems with static charge generation, dust pollution and the like as in the prior arts. The method of the present invention is not restricted by vacuum apparatuses that need ion alignment or vacuum plasma alignment and the like and is not restricted by the size of the equipment. Therefore, the method of the present invention is suitable for treating the surface of an alignment layer of a large size liquid crystal panel.

    摘要: An adaptor for connecting a cover to an overflow pipe includes an H-shaped body which is installed in an end portion of the overflow pipe. The lengthwise length of the adaptor is not longer than the outer diameter of the end portion of the overflow pipe. The adaptor includes a first connection portion formed to the center of the adaptor, and two second connection portions respectively formed to two ends of the adaptor. Two lateral sides are formed to two sides of the adaptor. The cover includes a notch communicating with the end portion of the overflow pipe. Multiple protrusions extend from the inner bottom of the cover. The protrusions are engaged with the two lateral sides of the adaptor to connect the cover to the adaptor. Bolt(s) extend through first or second connection portions of the adaptor and are connected to the end section of the overflow pipe.
