Abstract: An oral care implement includes a head having a front surface that defines a basin having a floor and a sidewall. A head plate is coupled to the head within the basin. The head plate has a plurality of tuft holes. A plurality of tooth cleaning elements are coupled to the head, each extending from a melt matte that is located between the head plate and the floor of the basin through one of the tuft holes in the head plate and protruding from the front surface of the head, The plurality of tooth cleaning elements includes a conical tuft having a cavity and a central cleaning element located within the cavity. The central cleaning element may be spaced apart from the conical tuft from the melt matte to a distal end of the central cleaning element.

Abstract: A personal care implement that uses less plastic by removing material from a handle of the oral care implement while maintaining a comfortable grip which is similar to a normal grip that a user associates with a personal care implement. That is, the handle has a recess in a rear surface thereof, such that the handle or a portion thereof has a U-shaped transverse cross-sectional area. Portions of the handle may be covered with an elastomeric material to increase gripability and comfort. The handle may also include various rib structures elongated along the recess to increase the strength of the handle so that it does not significantly deform during normal use.

Abstract: An oral care implement sanitization system that includes an oral care implement and a case for storing the oral care implement and activating a sanitization or sterilization procedure. The oral care implement may include tooth cleaning elements, a light source, and a first electrical coupling element operably coupled to the light source. The case may include a housing having a cavity for holding the oral care implement, a power source, and a second electrical coupling element operably coupled to the power source. When the oral care implement is positioned within the cavity of the housing of the case, the first and second electrical coupling elements are operably coupled together. Operable coupling of the first and second electrical coupling elements initiates, either immediately or upon the occurrence of some additional action, activation of the light source for sanitizing or sterilizing the tooth cleaning elements.

This enables the elongated rod and packages to be removed from the container simultaneously so that the elongated rod can be used to facilitate loading of the packages onto a pegboard hook.

Abstract: An oral care implement including a handle and a head. The oral care implement may be formed entirely out of a resilient or flexible material. The head may include a base structure and a monolithic cleaning unit.
