Abstract: The lens tube includes a cylindrical barrel, a holder, a cap, and a stress applying portion. The barrel houses at least one first lens. The holder houses an imaging element and is fixed to a substrate. The holder is configured to allow one end of the barrel in an axial direction to be screwed into the holder such that an optical axis of the first lens and an optical axis of the imaging element are aligned with each other. The cap is mountable to the barrel by allowing the other end of the barrel in the axial direction to be screwed into the cap. The stress applying portion is located between the holder and the cap when the barrel is screwed into the holder and the cap, and applies a stress in a direction in which the cap is separated from the holder. The first lens is held and fixed between a first stopper formed on the cap and a second stopper formed in the barrel when the cap is mounted to the barrel.

Abstract: An optical apparatus captures imaging light entering into an imager to acquire an image of an object. The optical apparatus includes a lens module and a support. The lens module is configured by a combination of two or more lenses, captures the imaging light through the lenses, and focuses the captured imaging light on the imager. The support supports the lens module at a position apart from the imager by a predetermined distance, such that the imager and the lenses are aligned on the optical axis, and a focal point of the imaging light is formed on the imager. The support is formed such that an expansion-contraction ratio, at which the support expands or contracts along the optical axis in accord with changes in ambient temperature of the optical apparatus, becomes a first expansion-contraction ratio at which the support expands or contracts so as to cancel a movement of the focal point occurring in the lens module along the optical axis in accord with the changes in ambient temperature of the optical apparatus.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus provided with a lens module which has a main body and two vane members. The main body holds a lens on an inside thereof. The vane members are plate shaped sections projected from an outside surface of the main body, which are provided with through-holes enabling fastening members to be threaded through. A base is provided with an imaging element and configured to fix thereto the main body. The case which accommodates the lens, the lens module and the base has two thread-holes formed on an inside thereof, into which the fastening members are fastened thereto. The lens module is fixed to the case by threading the fastening members through the through-holes, and fastening the fastening members into the thread-holes.
