    Abstract: An attachment unit for a vehicle parts is provided which includes an attachment member disposed on a window of a vehicle. The attachment member has a traversing surface which extends in a direction traversing a surface of the window. The vehicle part is brought into contact with the traversing surface and then positioned relative to or secured to the window. This establishes a mechanical joint of the vehicle part to the window with correct alignment therebetween.

    Abstract: An in-vehicle camera has a first board, a second board, a cable, and a casing. The first board is electrically connected with the second board through the cable. The casing has a first casing and a second casing. A first surface of the first board and a first surface of the second board face the first casing and are covered with the first casing. The first board and the second board are assembled with the first casing. A second surface of the first board and a second surface of the second board are covered with the second casing. One end part of the cable is fixed to the first surface of the first board and the other end part of the cable is fixed to the first surface of the second board.

    Abstract: A camera module is mountable to an inner side of a front windshield of a vehicle and is configured to capture an image of an external environment of the vehicle. The camera module includes an optical assembly, a camera casing, and an adhesive. The optical assembly includes an assembly reference surface for determining the position of an optical axis and captures an image of the external environment by forming an optical image incident along the optical axis from the external environment. The camera casing includes a casing reference surface to be positioned with respect to the front windshield on the outside of the camera casing and accommodates the optical assembly in a state separate from inner wall surfaces. The adhesive joins the optical assembly to the camera casing in a state in which the assembly reference surface is aligned with an imaginary plane extending along the casing reference surface.
