Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a flowable concentrate (FS) composition for forming a coating on an agricultural seed that includes an acrylic polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 0 to 35° C. measured according to ASTM D6604-00 (2017). In addition to the acrylic polymer, the FS composition further includes an agriculturally active compound, a water-soluble surfactant and water. The present disclosure also provides for a method of forming a coating on an agricultural seed using the FS composition and an agricultural seed coated with the FS composition of the present disclosure.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to solvents for pesticides and pesticide formulations. In one aspect, a solvent for pesticides comprises (a) an ether ester of Formula 1: wherein R1 and R2 are each independently one of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group, wherein R3 is hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl, and wherein n is 1 to 6; and (b) a polar amide of Formula 2: R4—C(O)—NR5R6 (Formula 2) wherein R4 is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and wherein R5 and R6 are each independently an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.

Abstract: An organic/oil mixture used in an emulsion to form micro-capsules of the present disclosure. The organic/oil mixture includes abamectin; a non-polar solvent having a polarity (P) value of a Hansen solubility parameter of 0 to 3; a polar solvent of Formula (I): where R1 is a C1 to C15 alkyl; R2 is either H or a C1 to C8 alkyl; R3 is a C1 to C15 alkylene; and R4 is a C1 to C15 alkyl, where a sum of carbons in the R1, R2, R4 alkyls and R3 alkylene is 8 to 30; and 2.5 to 20 wt. % of an isocyanate, where each wt. % is based on the total weight of the organic/oil mixture and the sum of the wt. % of the abamectin, the non-polar solvent, the polar solvent and the isocyanate totals 100 wt. %.

Abstract: A formulation contains (a) 1-20 wt % of indoxacarb; (b) 10-30 wt % of a primary emulsifier mixture containing: (i) 1-15 wt % of a polyalkylene glycol having the following structure : R1O—(CH2CH(CH3)—O)x—(CH2CH2O)y—H where R1 is a branched or linear alkyl having 4-16 carbons; x is a number from 0-11 and y is a number from 1-20; (ii) 5-15 wt % of an ethylene oxide/propylene oxide block copolymer hydroxyl terminated on both ends and having a molecular weight of 2000 to 8000 g/mol and an ethylene oxide moiety that is 40-60 wt % of total copolymer weight; and (iii) 1-10 wt % of sodium bisulfate adduct of bis (2-ethylhexyl) maleate; (c) 1-15 wt % of a non-aromatic methyl ester co-emulsifier; and (d) 10-70 wt % of a solvent consisting of cyclohexanone and at least one additional non-aromatic solvent; where the composition is fiee of aromatic solvents, amides, silicone containing components and azone.
