    Abstract: A method of finishing an exterior surface of a golf club head includes providing a golf club head having an exterior surface that includes a first surface region, a second surface region, and a third surface region. The method further includes steps of applying a first surface finish to at least the third surface region, applying a first masking to at least the first and third surface regions, applying a second surface finish to the second surface region, removing the first masking, applying a second masking to at least the second and third surface regions, applying a third surface finish to the first surface region, and removing the second masking.

    Abstract: A putter-type golf club head includes a main body. The main body includes a forward end, a rearward end opposite the forward end, a bottom portion, a top portion opposite the bottom portion, and a male-type hosel component defining a longitudinal axis that is forwardly canted relative to vertical. A face component is secured to the forward end of the main body. The face component includes a first element formed of a resilient material and a second element formed of a rigid material that is secured to the first element. A striking face generally defines a virtual striking face plane and is at least partially formed by the face component.

    Abstract: A method of customizing a golf club, wherein the method includes generating operating data representative of a user operating a mechanical device. The operating data is generated by a first sensor sized and configured to be removably positioned in a mounting port formed on the mechanical device during operation of the mechanical device. The sensor is interchangeably positionable in the mounting port with at least one mass insert, the at least one mass insert being adapted to be interchangeably positioned in the mounting to provide at least two different mass configurations. The method further includes determining a recommended configuration of the at least one mass insert specific to the user based on the operating data generated by the sensor, and transmitting information representative of the recommended mass insert.
