Abstract: A method is provided for arranging transmissions on a downlink carrier c, spanning a frequency range Fc, in a mobile radio communications system, wherein a bandwidth of Fc belongs to a set of predefined channel bandwidths in the communications system, and wherein the carrier c comprises a reference signal defined in the communications system. A configurable frequency range FRS comprising a set of time-frequency resources for comprising the reference signal of the carrier c is provided. Abstract: An apparatus for receiving non-orthogonal transmissions in a wireless communication system includes a processor configured to determine a first superposed symbol from a plurality of superposed symbols, based on superposition information and a first set of decoding information, wherein the first superposed symbol is corresponding to a first user equipment. The processor generates a residual signal based on the first superposed symbol and the superposition information, and determines a second superposed symbol based on the residual signal and a second set of decoding information, wherein the second superposed symbol is corresponding to a second user equipment. The superposition information comprises a quantity of the plurality of superposed symbols and an ordering of the plurality of superposed symbols.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an information transmission method, user equipment, and a base station. The method includes: receiving indication information sent by a base station, where the indication information is used to indicate a first downlink subframe in which a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) is transmitted; determining the first downlink subframe according to the indication information; and performing information transmission according to the first downlink subframe. Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for facilitating synchronization between a base station (BS) and a user equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system. The UE receives a synchronization signal originated by the BS. The synchronization signal is encoded with a selected cyclically permutable (CP) codeword. Encoding of the synchronization signal is facilitated by a repetitive cyclically permutable (RCP) codeword derivable from the selected CP codeword. The RCP codeword has a plurality of codeword elements each associated with a value, the value of at least one codeword element in the RCP codeword being repeated in another codeword element position in the RCP codeword. And the synchronization signal is decoded in accordance with repetitive structure of the RCP codeword.
