    Abstract: A first user equipment (UE) reserves a resource from a resource pool for transmission of sidelink data associated with a packet priority, and transmits a location of the reserved resource, an indicator indicating whether a reservation priority is assigned to the sidelink data, and a priority value that is associated with the packet priority or the reservation priority. A second UE receives the location of the reserved resource, the indicator and the priority value, and based thereon performs sidelink communication. A UE may also select, from a resource pool based on a packet priority of sidelink data to be transmitted, a subset of resources usable by the UE, and transmit the sidelink data using a resource selected from the subset of resources. The resource pool includes one or more subsets of resources each of which is associated with a set of priority values.

    Abstract: Example sidelink communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes determining resources for potential transmission from a resource pool on a sidelink by a terminal device. The terminal device transmits a resource indication message on the sidelink, where the resource indication message includes a configuration of the resources that are determined for potential transmission. The configuration of the resources indicates a subset of the resources that are usable by first type of user equipments (UEs) and a subset of the resources that are usable by second type of UEs. The resource indication message is sent in a sidelink control information (SCI) message. The terminal device receives an indication of selected resources from at least one second type of UE, and transmits the indication of selected resources to at least another UE.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a wireless communication method supporting hybrid automatic repeat request. The method includes: sending first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process quantity indication information to a user equipment UE; and if second HARQ process quantity indication information is further sent to the UE, determining a second HARQ process quantity according to the second HARQ process quantity indication information, and performing data transmission with the UE according to the determined second HARQ process quantity.     Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a memory comprising instructions and a processor in communications with the memory. The processor is configured to execute the instructions to determine a reference signal received power of user equipment (UE). In response to determining that the reference signal received power is less than or equal to a threshold, it is determined that the UE supports sending a physical random access channel, receiving a random access response message, sending a random access response acknowledgment message, and receiving a contention resolution message.
