Abstract: An automatic zooming method and an apparatus includes determining a contour of a subject of a preview image and a central point of the subject according to the preview image in a preview frame on a screen; when the central point of the subject overlaps a central point of the preview frame, determining a zoom parameter according to a size of the contour of the subject and a size of the preview frame, where the zoom parameter includes at least one of a to-be-adjusted focal length of a camera or a zoom factor of the preview image; and zooming the camera according to the zoom parameter.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to the field of terminals and disclose a camera switching method for a terminal, and the terminal. In those embodiments, when the terminal is installed with a plurality of cameras, automatic and dynamic switching between the cameras may be implemented based on a to-be-photographed object, thereby improving a photographing effect of the to-be-photographed object. In those embodiment, the terminal may display, in response to a first operation of enabling a photographing function by a user, a first photographing picture captured by a first camera, where the first photographing picture includes a to-be-photographed object. If the to-be-photographed object cannot be displayed completely in the first photographing picture, the terminal may switch from the first photographing picture to a second photographing picture captured by the second camera, and disabling the first camera, where an FOV of the second camera is larger than an FOV of the first camera.

Abstract: Data packet retransmission by a radio link control (RLC) protocol entity of a transmit end is described herein. The retransmission includes sending a target sequence number and a first data packet to a MAC entity of the transmit end and recording a quantity of times the target sequence number is transmitted to the MAC entity of the transmit end at an RLC layer. In accordance with receiving the target sequence number and a negative acknowledgement that are sent by the MAC entity, obtaining the RLC layer transmission count corresponding to the target sequence number. In accordance with determining the RLC layer transmission count is less than an RLC layer transmission threshold, sending a retransmission instruction based on the first data packet to the MAC entity. In accordance with a retransmission condition at the RLC layer being met, the RLC entity of the transmit end triggers retransmission at the RLC layer.
