    Abstract: This application provides a method for processing timing advance TA of a terminal, and an apparatus. A terminal obtains a correspondence between first TA and a beam, determines, based on the correspondence, the beam corresponding to the first TA, and further determines, based on the beam corresponding to the first TA, whether the first TA is invalid. In other words, in embodiments of this application, the terminal may determine, by using a finer granularity, whether the first TA is invalid, and this helps trigger selection of more appropriate TA. Therefore, compared with a conventional solution, embodiments of this application can further reduce interference between uplink transmission.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and apparatus, and a computer storage medium, to reduce communication latency between a terminal and a base station, and improve a capability of adapting to a latency-sensitive scenario. The method provided in this application includes a terminal that receives at least one uplink configuration and at least one random access configuration from a network device. The uplink configuration is used to indicate a parameter for sending uplink data, and the random access configuration is used to indicate a parameter for sending a preamble. The at least one uplink configuration includes a first uplink configuration, the at least one random access configuration includes a first random access configuration, and there is a correspondence between the first uplink configuration and the first random access configuration.

    Abstract: A discontinuous reception communication method and communications apparatus, a communications device, and a communications system are provided. The communications device is configured to: receive, during running of a timer T11, indication information sent by a network device, where the indication information includes HARQ feedback information for initial transmission or retransmission of data of a terminal device, and the timer T11 is started after the initial transmission or the retransmission of the data and is used to monitor a physical downlink control channel PDCCH; and stop the timer T11. Because the timer is stopped immediately when the HARQ feedback information for the data is received, the terminal device is allowed to enter a sleep state. In this way, duration in which the terminal device is in an active state can be shortened, and power consumption can be reduced.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method used for random access, including: receiving, by a terminal, random access preamble information sent by a base station; and before sending random access to the base station based on the random access preamble information, receiving, by the terminal, a random access response sent by the base station, where the random access response includes an uplink asynchronous hybrid automatic repeat request HARQ process identifier, and the uplink asynchronous HARQ process identifier is used by the terminal to send uplink data to the base station. Compared with the prior art, the communication method provided in the embodiments of the present invention can ensure to some extent that uplink data is transmitted timely and can effectively improve uplink data transmission reliability.
