Abstract:
A method, a base station and a user equipment for transmitting physical resource blocks and estimating channels are provided. The method includes: scheduling, by a base station, M PRBs for the user equipment, and configuring reference signal patterns for the M PRBs as following: allocating (X−1)M+1 demodulation reference signal subcarriers for M PRBs in a frequency domain, configuring only one demodulation reference signal subcarrier within a range of (−N, N] subcarriers in a border of every two PRBs, where locations of the rest (X−2)M+2 demodulation reference signal subcarriers keep consistent with locations of demodulation reference signal subcarriers in M contiguous first demodulation reference signal patterns in a frequency domain; and transmitting the configured M PRBs to the user equipment, so that the user equipment performs joint channel estimation according to the configured M PRBs. This saves reference signal overheads and optimizes data transmission rate.

This application provides a power indication method and apparatus, relates to the field of communications technologies, and is used to enable a network device to perform, in real time, power control on a terminal for uplink transmission. The method includes: A terminal generates antenna transmit capability information, where the antenna transmit capability information is used to indicate whether a maximum transmit power value of each transmit antenna port of the terminal reaches a preset power value, or the antenna transmit capability information is used to indicate a maximum transmit power value of each transmit antenna port of the terminal. Then, the terminal sends the antenna transmit capability information to a network device, so that when scheduling uplink transmission, the network device can determine whether the maximum transmit power value of each transmit antenna port of the terminal reaches the preset power value.

This application discloses a sequence generating method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communications technologies, to resolve a problem that a PAPR of a DMRS symbol is higher than that of a data symbol. An initialization factor of a first sequence is obtained, where the initialization factor is associated with a first parameter, and the first sequence is generated based on the initialization factor. In addition, the first parameter is a port number, or the first parameter is a code division multiplexing CDM group identity.

This disclosure provides example reference signal mapping methods, apparatuses, and media. One example method includes determining a time-frequency unit based on a size of a first frequency domain unit. A resource group in the time-frequency unit is determined based on a first port index, where the resource group corresponds to one port group, and the port group includes one or more ports. A reference signal corresponding to the first port index is mapped to a first resource group in the time-frequency unit in response to determining that a port corresponding to the first port index belongs to a first port group, or the reference signal corresponding to the first port index is mapped to a second resource group in the time-frequency unit in response to determining that a port corresponding to the first port index belongs to a second port group. The reference signal is sent.

In one example, a codebook indication method includes: receiving by a terminal device, a transmission parameter indication information indicating an index of one codebook subset configuration of three codebook subset configurations in the terminal device from a base station, wherein the three codebook subset configurations in the terminal device are related to fully coherent, partial coherent, and incoherent respectively, and the codebook subset configuration related to fully coherent includes M indexes, the codebook subset configuration related to partial coherent includes N indexes, and the codebook subset configuration related to incoherent includes K indexes, wherein M is an integer larger than N, and N is larger than K; and determining a transmission layer and precoding matrix associated with the index according to the transmission parameter indication information.

This application provides example link failure recovery methods and apparatuses. One example method includes sending, by a terminal device, a first media access control-control element (MAC-CE) to a network device, where the first MAC-CE includes information about a cell in which the a first link failure occurs. The terminal device can then start a first timer. The terminal device can then send a first request message when the first timer expires, where the first request message is the first MAC-CE or a second MAC-CE including information about at least one cell in which a link failure occurs.

A precoding matrix indication method and a related device. In the method, a transmit end can group K combination coefficients based on an amplitude value of each of the K combination coefficients, to obtain Q combination coefficient groups, and determine a phase value of each combination coefficient in each combination coefficient group. The amplitude value of each combination coefficient is determined by using a same amplitude quantization bit quantity and a same amplitude quantization rule. In addition, phase quantization bit quantities and/or phase quantization rules used by at least two of the Q combination coefficient groups are different.
