Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a random access method, a communications apparatus, a chip, and a storage medium. A network device sends a first synchronization signal/PBCH block SSB on a first candidate SSB occasion, and/or sends a second SSB on a second candidate SSB occasion, where both the first candidate SSB occasion and the second candidate SSB occasion are associated with a first random access channel time-frequency-code resource. The network device receives random access information sent by a terminal device on the first random access channel time-frequency-code resource. According to the embodiments of this application, two candidate SSB occasions are mapped to a same PRACH time-frequency-code resource. In this way, even if an SSB cannot be sent on one of the two candidate SSB occasions due to a channel sensing failure, but another SSB can be sent on the other candidate SSB occasion due to a channel sensing success.

Abstract: This application provides a polar encoding and modulation method and apparatus, and a demodulation and decoding method and apparatus. In the polar encoding and modulation method, a probability shaping technology is combined with a polar code, to group to-be-encoded bit sequences, and probability shaping is performed on a group of bit sequences. Modulation and mapping are directly performed on all bit sequences obtained through probability shaping, and polar transformation is performed on some bit sequences obtained through probability shaping together with other groups of bit sequences for modulation and mapping. In the demodulation and decoding method, a modulation symbol sequence is demodulated and decoded, a part of obtained bit sequence is directly mapped to obtain a second bit sequence, and the other part is continuously decoded to obtain a first bit sequence.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. A terminal device receives indication information sent by a network device by using higher layer signaling, receives, based on the indication information, a downlink data channel that is sent by the network device and that carries control information, and sends an uplink channel to the network device based on the control information. In this process, a step in which the network device sends a downlink PDCCH to the terminal device and a step in which the network device sends an uplink PDCCH to the terminal device are omitted, and closed-loop service communication is implemented through only one downlink data channel and one uplink channel. There are few signaling-related steps, thereby greatly ensuring service reliability and reducing a latency.

Abstract: This application provides a method for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request HARQ feedback information and a communications apparatus. A terminal device receives downlink data channels. Each of the downlink data channels has a corresponding transmission parameter group, and at least two downlink data channels correspond to different transmission parameter groups. The terminal device determines a first transmission resource based on first information including the transmission parameter groups, and sends, on the first transmission resource, HARQ feedback information corresponding to the downlink data channels, so that a plurality of pieces of HARQ feedback information can be smoothly fed back. This helps improve service transmission reliability.
